Property description: The property is located in a housing complex (originally a holiday resort) which was designed with the typical Andalusian "pueblo blanco" (white town) style. It is located at walking distance from the beach (approximately 15 minutes, depending on going downhill or uphill), but far from all the noisy beach activity. It is an open-plan 30 square-meter (344 square-feet) studio, with a hallway, a living-room/bedroom common area, an individual bathroom and an open kitchen. Simple decoration, but fully equipped with all you need to make you feel at home (including washing machine located on a back laundry area). Wi-fi Internet connection available all year-round. There is also an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a wide garden area (open from March till the end of October). Ideal for a sabbatical stay if you need peace and quiet to write a book or organize your documents before writing a book. The nearest university is Malaga, but there are nearby public libraries in Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola and Malaga city. The small front garden is nice for having outdoor meals, even in the winter. You can get around by foot (I, the owner, don't have a car myself), but since you have to go downhill/uphill to access public transportation (it takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on how used to walking you are), this is an important factor to be considered. If you can get a car during your stay, it would obviously be a lot more practical. However, in spite of the uphill/downhill factor, the the niceness of the surroundings, the gardens and villas nearby and the Costa del Sol in general make it worth a sabbatical stay. You have a series of nearby attractions, such as the Alhambra (Granada), Ronda, Marbella, and all of the South of Spain (or all of Spain if you want to be more adventurous) to be explored while you are here.
