Objectives of this event are as follow: To discuss current and future developments related to pharmacoeconomics and health policy decision- making in Malaysia To provide a platform for researchers, healthcare practitioners and decision-makers who usepharmacoeconomics and outcomes research to shareknowledge and experience To provide an opportunity for researchers and students to showcase their research through poster and podium sessions Conference format The 2nd Pharmacoeconomic and Outcome Research Conference 2014 was held from the 7th to 9th March 2014 at The Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.The Conference theme was “Pharmacoeconomics in Healthcare Transformation: Towards Universal Coverage”. This Conference wasofficiated by the Deputy Director-General (Medical), Ministry of Health, Malaysia, Y.B. Datuk Dr Jeyaindran Tan Sri Sinnaduraiwho also delivered the keynote address. Six panel sessionswere presented by invited speakers. In addition, two symposium sessions, one educational workshopand scientific paper presentations (oral and poster) were carried out.
