Theo Ubique Theatre named finalist for 2011 Emerging Theatre Award

Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre is one of five finalists for the 2011 Broadway in Emerging Theatre Award, announced by The League of Chicago this weekend. The recipient is determined by a vote of member companies of the League. The deadline to vote is Friday, April 15, 2011 at 5 p.m.

Help from our Fan Club Members is needed to encourage any voting member at a theatre to vote for Theo Ubique. Please talk us up to anyone you know in a decision-making position at a member theatre company. (see list below)

The award recipient receives $5,000, consultation with staff members, and a marketing package that includes advertising support. The award recipient will be determined by a majority vote of member companies of the League of Chicago Theatres. Every member organization of the League is encouraged to vote and only one vote is allowed per organization.

Other finalists are 16th Street Theater, The New Colony, Theater Wit and Theatre Seven of Chicago. More information about us is available on our web site at www.theoubique.org.
