Introduction The Gundam World is a futurist Universe which started 35 years ago with the series “Kidou Senshi Gundam”. This series was the prelude of a franchise that has almost 100 different series (taking into consideration OVAS, films, etc…).

“Gunpla Battle” is a game about the Gundam Universe in which two Mobile Suits fighting one against the other in order to decide which one is stronger.

When building gunpla model kits (Gundam plastic Model aka. Gunpla) you normally have 2 options, you expose it, or you create a diorama for it. Now there’s another chance, you can play with him and show that your skills and your gunpla are the best.

The original idea of this was born in 2013 with the series “” in which the characters create their own gunpla and fight with it in awesome battlefields. This game was developed a few months after the release. Be up to date, for any possible changes that could be done to the rules (Hopefully not)

The game does not have any relation with at all, however in order to have a good relationship with series creators and also with Bandai, you can only use BANDAI Kits.

I Hope you enjoy this board game as much as I did developing it.

José Alberto Mesa Murgado, Game Designer.

Almost all Mobile Suits are allowed, there are some exceptions, and you can check them at the Gunpla Battle database, the gunpla battle wikia.

In some tournaments they could choose to limit the Era, for example, let’s say that the only allowed Era is Universal Century and your gunpla, (which is Cherubin from Gundam 00 does not belong to that Era) you won’t be able to enter that tournament and if you do it, you’ll get expelled.

But don’t worry too much about it, Gunpla Battle is a vast world and we are sure that you will know the rules of a tournament before applying for it.

In this Rulebook you won’t be able to check all the available gunplas (and also, their respective statistics and boosts) If you want to do so, you’ll have to visit:

www.gunpla-battle.wikia.com

In Gunpla there are some different scales to build, customize and play. In this case, the best option would be the 1/144 in which the gunplas have an approximately height measure of 14 cm.

All the following grades allowed are: Super Deformed, High Grade, Real Grade and Master Grade. Be up to the changes that could be done to the rulebook)

If you don’t know where to buy your gunpla, there are some shops which sell them at quite a reasonable price (1200 yens are almost equally to 12 dollars so, is quite reasonable and you’ll get a cute gunpla) the ones I recommend are: Hobby link (HLJ) and GGInfinite.

These are our recommendations in order to enter the world of Gunpla

This are Known as SD Gundams (left) and the High Grade Lane (right).

What you need to play

Well, that’s quite easy to answer, what is usually in all board games is to play in a plain surface, in this case you will need a table and some buildings that establish the battle field (check the allowed fields) of a minimum measure of 25 inches side.

“Don’t worry busy people, this match won’t late He... He… “

Since this game is for 2 or more people you will need one gunpla for each, some dices, a ruler and, if the gunpla can’t stand by his own feet, a stand.

The exact number of dices that you’ll need are 6

 1 dice of 100 sides for attacks damage. 1d100 (Nº of dices, dice sides)  2 dice of 6 sides for initiative. 2d6 (Nº of dices, dice sides)  1 dice of 20 sides for shoots hit-misses and evasion. 1d20 (Nº of dices, dice sides)  2 dice of 4 sides for movement and dash. 2d4 (Nº of dices, dice sides)

Second Release: September 2014

Choosing your faction ONLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY ON THE ACTUAL ERA

In this world, you will have to choose a faction to develop your skills and also to create the “Actual Era” which is a story we will be creating while we play, every two months there will be different tournament in some cities and two factions will confront.

The game mode will be Team DeathMatch and there can only be up to three players playing in the same team, with 4 teams the game should be okay. Your team will represent a faction in the world, you’ll choose yours and the winner team will gain a territory the story will be developed with your wins.

This part of the game has been built with the aim of creating an online story, different to what we are used to. You will need a custom machine and a character profile in the Game Database in order to start playing this.

You are able to choose between the following genetic types: Newtype, Innovator, Coordinator, -Rounder and Natural, obviously, you will have your genetic type skills independent from your unit skills

There are 5 main factions inside the Custom Century (which includes all mobile suits from all the different existent eras)

Second Release: September 2014

BASIC RULES How the game start:

First, when you have been challenged to a fight. You will need to have your gunpla and a table, first of all we’ll decide who goes first you or your opponent.

INICIATIVE

This is the first thing to do at the start of the game, this way you will decide how to take the turns.

Roll two six sided dice, whoever gets the higher result, goes first. That’s quite simple, right?

Done? Then let’s move to the next step.

Now you have to choose a side of the table and your opponent will have to choose the opposite one.

PHASES

There are 3 kind of actions you can do in your turn (A movement action, minor action and a complete action), every turn you can do one of those actions, however;

You can exchange one minor action for a movement action and vice versa.

You can exchange one complete action for a minor action or a movement one, but no vice versa.

A movement action which can be a normal walk, jump, run or dash.

Normal walk, this is done with a 4 sided dice, you roll your dice and you move your unit the quantity result (Result in inches)

Run, this movement will waste more energy than a normal walk, also if your unit is too heavy you won’t be able to run (This is more than 3 adds without counting backpack or shield) you will roll two 4 sided dices and your unit will move that amount of inches.

Dash, this is what wastes most of the movement actions, useful to get near to your enemy soon and do a good strategy. You roll one 4 sided dice plus one 6 sided dice (1d4+1d6).

Jump, this is only useful to see an enemy from the air and also to evade buildings, rocks, or enemies. Roll a 4 sided dice

A minor action has almost the same importance as a movement and includes the following aspects, you may choose only one out of: Change Weapons, Pick objects, Recharge.

Changing weapons is simple, you save or throw to the ground one weapon and pick another, and this is useful if for example your Mobile Suit is too heavy, this will allow you to run. Also, if your ammo has been wasted you can change to a sword or a beam rifle. Energy needed: 20

Pick objects, sometimes there will be weapons in the ground, or ammo, if this is the case they will be really useful but you have to know that the more items you have, the more your weight is. Energy needed: 20

10

Second Release: September 2014

Recharge, this is something obvious, it will only affect does units that does have ammo instead of energy, and usually this is related to the last mentioned action. Energy needed: 10

Hide, when you are near a tree, or an object you can hide within it, this is consider as a minor action. Energy needed: 10

Now, talking about complete actions. These actions includes the following commands:

Rest, will help you to recover a 30 % of your energy but consumes an entire turn, you will have to do it as first action and, in consequence, you won’t do anything more even counter attacks.

Attack command

Shooting; in order to shoot you need a medium-long range weapon, if it uses energy your unit will lose an amount of energy depending on the weapon. If it needs ammo, you will waste it. Energy needed to shoot: 15 + Weapon damage

Slash; in order to slash you need a close combat weapon (a sword, beam saber, etc.) it does a lot of damage, but is very difficult to be that near to a unit. Energy needed to do this action: 20

Knuckle; just the same as slash, but you can’t have any weapon equipped. Energy needed to do this action: 30

Special Abilities

In Gunpla Battle there are some effects that can improve your unit statistics for a few turns, there are a lot of them since there are lots of machines here you are able to check what effects have some systems. (More skills in the latest pages)

Trans-Am and Quanta System boost your speed, attacks and evasion for a 4 turns, after that, your machine will be seriously injured.

RG System will improve the offensive statistics of your machine for 2 turns, there are no drawbacks.

Moonlight Butterfly System boost your attack at an extremely point, note that it will disappear very soon (2 turns) and it also reduces your armour after using it.

EXAM System increase your unit statistics but when it finish, your unit will get seriously damaged to the point, your unit will lose 50% of its remaining life.

This is all you have to know about the game, overview of the game, but you must know about the statistics of your unit, their distribution and a lot of more things

11

Second Release: September 2014

The Turn The turn is based on three different actions, these are the possibilities you can do:

Movement Action, minor action and complete action: this way you are able to move your unit, pick a weapon, recharge, to change weapons and use a special ability, rest, and attack with a weapon or shoot.

Three Movement Actions; with this you are able to go far away from your initial position.

Three Minor Actions; with this you are able to pick ammo from the ground, change your weapon and recharge.

One Complete Action; this is only used when you are going to rest, as you may have read above, you can only use that action and you can’t do anything the rest of the turn.

2 Movement Actions and a minor action; this possibility allows you to move and to pick a weapon, recharge, and or change weapons.

1 Complete action; when you want only to attack, you don’t have to do any other action, just attack and finish your turn. This is useful if you are next to your opponent unit and you both don’t want to move.

So, by knowing this you will have come to the conclusion that you can exchange any of every action with another, however you can’t do two complete actions.

Complete action

Movement Action Minor Action

Second Release: September 2014

Battle Modes The game has different battle modes, there aren’t lot of restrictions and they are quite easy to catch.

Survival

Two players confront their selves in a DeathMatch, all fields are allowed and there can be changes in the field. The game ends when one of the units loses all of its energy or hit points.

Team DeathMatch

Two teams are established in order to be equally in skill and number (3v2 won’t be a fair game). Every team has one turn that means that they will act as one player, choosing one by one their actions and their results. When the team loses all of his units (Their Team unit HP are cero) they lose the match. Turns will be taken one by one (Each player of one team and then another from the other team).Only 3v3 is allowed. [Team initiative and then they choose who goes first, second, third]

Battle Royale

Everyone goes after everyone, you shouldn’t trust anybody, and battles can only be resulted one by one, this means that if you are attacking one machine and you destroy it, if other player had targeted the destroyed machine they won’t be able to attack, what they can do is to re aim their target.

The player who kill more units, won. Turns will be taken One By One.

13

Second Release: September 2014

Movements As we told before there are four different types of movement in Gunpla Battle; Normal walk, run, jump and dash.

At the start of the game all the players roll 2d6 and the one with the greater result starts, they will put their gunplas in one side of the table and at a distance of 6 inches from the border.

Now that player has to choose between using a minor action or a movement, let’s say he want to move his unit.

When the game start your unit is fully charged, because of this you are able to do whatever type of movement you want. Let’s see the possibilities.

He chose to do a “Normal Walk”

Here’s the situation, we are in Field 2 (Forest) and our player owns a close combat unit [Gundam Build Strike], his opponent uses a medium range unit [Gundam X Maoh], because of this, the close combat unit has a better chance to win.

Our tactic is to go next to a tree and hide ourselves [Like how the team have hide in the picture next to this note]

Mobile Suits have a range of view of 90º and distance but the field objects limit the unit vision [Vision lane], because of this, unless the gundam X Maoh start next to us, he won’t be able to see us.

When we walk, we roll a 1d4 (+ 1 with every 200 points used in speed) and move that amount of inches, we also waste (5 points of energy = Normal walk). Thanks to this can walk 3 inches, however that’s not enough we would need to change a minor action for a movement action in order to get to the trees.

He chose to use“Run”

Our player decides to change one of his minor action for another movement action because he is a bit far from the trees, we have walked 3 inches but we need another 3.

He is not sure about if he will be able to reach the trees with a “normal walk”, so he is planning to run and get safe.

When we run, we roll 2d4 (+ 1 with every 200 points used in speed) and that will be the amount of inches he will run. Because of this movement he loses 10 points of energy and can move 3 inches.

“Fiu… That was close.” — said Joe.

14

Second Release: September 2014

Joe finish his turn, and now Marc has to start his turn. His gundam, [Gundam X Maoh] can’t know where the build strike is, however he know that his enemy has the advantage since he is a close combat unit.

Marc tactic is to jump and discover where Joe is.

He chose to use “Jump”

Marc is sure that if gets to a certain high, he will be able to see where Build strike (from the air if the field is plain you could be able to see where your enemy is] because of this, he roll 1d4 is able to see from 3 inches above, he also lose 10 energy points.

If your result was >2 you can cross buildings

But Build strike alredy knew that he could that, that’s why he hide inside the trees. Marc tactic fails.

But this is not the end, Marc know the power of his satelite cannon, and he also know that if he gets closer to the midfield he will be able to check where his enemy is.

Marc equip his satetile cannon and goes to midfield by using “dash”.

He chose to use “Dash”

Marc decides that using dash is the best way to recognise where his enemy is hiding, because he will get a better vision.

He then, roll 1d4 + 1d6 (+ 1 with every 200 points used in speed) and because of this he is able to move 7 inches and also loses 20 points of energy, it was a really good choice.

Now they are both at midfield, and they can recognise where the other is. But this could have been his worse nightmare, because it is now the turn of Joe and his [Build Strike Gundam] the distance between them is 10 inches so they now know where his enemy is.

“Do you think I am gonna lose? NO WAY” — said Marc.

Second Release: September 2014

Your unit attributes

In gunpla Battle there are 5 essential stats organised in colours, they are:

Vital stats are the one that allow you to control your machine and also, the ones that let you to continue fighting

Energy (E): This attribute is needed to complete an action, without it you automatically lose the game, every time you do an action, you waste energy. However, there’s no need to worry, you will recover energy automatically every two turns. You will recover 15% of your total Energy every of your turns, this mean that if you lose all of your energy in one turn, you will lose.

Hit Points (HP): This attribute is needed in order to move your machine, it has the same Importance as the energy, and it will determines how much damage you can resist.

When you receive an attack, your HP falls down. However, every two of your turns you recover 300 Hit Points (4 turns). You lose the game when your unit can’t continue; it doesn’t have energy, you lost your head and both arms, or your unit entire HP.

You can lose parts of your gunpla such as the head, legs or arms. They have a proportion of life appropriated for your unit. If you lose only an arm and it is on the ground you can always recover it if the damage it received doesn’t surpass in 50 points its hit points, do it with a minor action called “Pick-up” by doing this, you will have your arm again attached to your unit.

Offensive statistics are the one that allow you to win your fight.

16

Second Release: September 2014

Fire Power: This attributes is needed in order to know how much damage your fire weapon does. There are two kinds of fire weapons: One goes with Ammo, the other with energy. [300 Points used here are equally to +10 in the result of hit damage and +1 accuracy.]

Attack Damage: This attribute is needed to know how much damage you do with your punch or your close combat. [400 Points used here are equally to +20 of hit damage and + 2 Attack Succeed.]

Speed: This attribute is done for two purposes; to increase the distance you can move, your action and also reaction speed. [200 Points used here are equally to a boost of +2 in the move and +1 in evasion.]

Defensive statistics are the one that allow you to resist a hit.

Armour: This attribute helps you to resist an attack, quite simple. ¿Isn’t it? [200 points used here are equally to take -20 in the hit damage]

Specials statistics

They are something apart from all the usual attributes, they depend on the Gundam model and your imagination but keep in your head that your Gundam can’t surpass the double of its total potential and it HP or Energy can’t be fully regenerated they can only be regenerated until a 50% of its total. [CHECK SPECIALS LIST]

FOR CUSTOM MOBILE SUITS

2000 Points shared out in Vital Stats and 2400 Points between Defensive and Offensive stats, note that they must have at least 100 points each.

This way, there will be unique Gundams anywhere, you can do a full offensive close combat Gundam, full tank, or full offensive long range. You decide your own limits.

Restrictions

If your Gundam has more than 4 items in its inventory, you won’t be able to use run unless you have a backpack to help your unit.

Items may be: Swords, Beam Sabers, Beam rifle, bazookas, snipers, shields, and scythes.

Fields such as Space Field restrain your movement by only using Dash to move your unit.

Backpacks work as a special item where your stats gets amplified, however, not too much. You can’t improve the performance of your unit more than a 35%. Check Backpack List

Second Release: September 2014

How to customize your stats

In Gunpla Battle you can play with Massive creation Mobile Suits (Which have no modifications on them, this includes: colour scheme change and adding parts. To sum up, those mobile suits which have not been customize at all)

However, as you may have read there are 3 different types of Gundams because of this, different types of buildings. What I am going to teach you now is how to distribute your stats well.

Vital stats

You will lose around 140 – 240 Hit Points in every combat that’s why your hit points should be around 1000 to 1400 Points, to sum up, higher than your energy.

Every turn you will waste about 100 – 150 points of energy, and every two turns you will recover about 200 points of energy because of this reason my advice is to give 800 points to your Energy Points. They are a good choice if you are going to attack without going full burst every turn.

+800 Points to Energy and +1200 Points to Hit Points would be a balanced build

Offensive Stats and Armor

We have get to the most important factor of the game, the offensive stats. What do you want your unit to be? Close combat? Mid—Range or Long—Range? Tank? Your imagination is the limit

If you want your unit to be a melee it will need more points in attack damage than in Fire Power, 400 points given to attack damage are equally to a +20 on your attack, however we will also need speed in order to our attack succeed. My advice would be to give:

1200 Points to attack damage, 1000 Points to Speed, 100 Points to Fire Power and 200 Points to Armor.

If you want your unit to be mid—Range you will need as much attack Damage as Fire Power, something balanced that is why this build would be really suitable for you:

+900 Points to Fire Power, +800 Points to Attack Damage, +400 Points to Speed and +400 Points to Armor

But if you want to go long—range you will need a lot of Fire Power and less Attack Damage in consequence, so this build will be suitable for long range units:

+1500 Points to Fire Power, +100 Points to Attack Damage, +400 Points to Speed, +400 Points to Armor

These are only some advices that have been created in order to help you distributing your unit stats

19

Second Release: September 2014

Fields In Gunpla Battle there are several fields, they can act over your machine or vice versa.

Space This Field has one restriction, you can only use Dash as your moving action. This is because there isn’t a surface in the space.

Forest Since there are 4 season (spring, summer, autumn and winter) the forest must be in one of the listed seasons. Liquid surfaces makes you walk slowly (-2 to movement dice roll)

Desert Not any remarkable restriction. If there’s sand, the restriction applied will be the same as a liquid surface (-2 to movement dice roll)

Mountain It must be set on a season, liquid surfaces makes you walk slowly.

Canyon No restrictions.

City If you are inside a colony, your missed shots can destroy the environment, if this happens you’ll have a movement restriction (-3 to your movement roll)

Ruins No restrictions

Castle A feudal or occidental castle, it doesn’t have any particular restriction.

20

Second Release: September 2014

Types of Mobile Suits There are 3 types of Gundam

You’ll soon discover that the game follows the rule: scissors, rock and paper.

their strong point is their fire power, they can shoot at any distance, can have a good armour but they lack of close combat attacks although in distance they beat them. In result, they could be considered as scissor.

They are good at both, fire power and attack, they would be considered as the balanced ones. Their stats are usually really well shared out. As how you may have imagined, they are the rock.

They are extremely good at attack and speed, but they lack of fire power and because of that, they can be easily destroyed when taking a long distance. They are paper

21

Second Release: September 2014

Close Combat Attacks This is one of the features included in complete action, while long range unit are able to shoot, close combat unit has this feature.

As a needed condition, you have to be next to your opponent unit in order to proceed with the attack. [If your weapon/arm can touch your enemy gunpla, you can attack him]

First of all you have to choose which part of your opponent unit you want to hit it could be the arms, legs, head or the torso. You can see their properties in the section [Stats] but the usual place to destroy is the torso because there is where the pilot usually is.

So once you have targeted the place you are going to attack you have to roll 1d20 (+1 per 200 points given to speed) while your opponent is going to do the same, he will roll 1d20 (+ 1 per 200 of points given to speed) if your opponent got a higher result than you, then your attack will fail.

If your attack succeeded, then you will have to roll 1d100 (+20 per 400 points given to attack damage, + your weapon feature) to know how much damage did you inflict to your opponent unit.

¡ATTENTION!

If you own a double wielded unit you can perform another attack just right after a previous one using 100 points of energy, it will be decided as other attack so because of this you will have to do the same as before:

You target the place where you are going to attack and you roll 1d20 (+1 per 200 points given to speed) while your opponent has to do the same, he has to roll 1d20 (+ 1 per 200 of points given to speed) if your opponent got a higher result than you, then your attack will fail.

If your attack succeeded, then you will have to roll 1d100 (+20 per 400 points given to attack damage) to know how much damage did you inflict to your opponent unit.

“What happens if I evaded a close combat attack? “ — Asked Jesus.

There’s a special feature if succeeded in evading a close combat attack, this option is only available for close combat and middle range units. You can do a counter-attack, is a special feature that can only appear under this conditions.

22

Second Release: September 2014

Close Combat Attacks 2

COUNTER ATTACK

As happened with double wielded units, you can perform a counter attack just after your opponent attack failed, however it is only available for close combat and mid- range units (Whenever a melee weapon is attached).

This second attack won’t count as a complete action instead, it counts as a Minor Action

Only two counter attacks per turn are allowed.

Beginning Gundam 3 Beam sabers attack will do 200 Damage without Bonus per Slash (400 if attacks twice and you won’t be able to roll 1d100 if you do so)

23

Second Release: September 2014

Shooting or Ranged Attacks Shooting is considered as a ‘complete action’. Here, you will learn each of the necessary steps in order to make a nice shot. According to the rules, what you must do is:

 Nominate your objective  Select target within the objective.  Roll in order to hit.  Roll in order to damage.  Saving throws

However, some conditions are needed in order to shoot, your gunpla can see an angle of 90º so, if your enemy is hiding behind an objects, you won’t be able to shot that zone unless your unit has saw where it is.

This way you can create your own strategy to get closer to the enemy unit and destroy it.

Nominate your objective

Just like in real life, you have to decide who or what are you going to shoot. By nominating your objective, you literally say who you are going to shoot and then you have to move to the next step.

Select Target

After saying the name of the objective you are going to shoot, you MUST say which part of his gunpla are you going to hit; Arms, Legs, Head or Torso. In case you are aiming for a structure, you don’t necessary have to do this, unless you want to destroy a specific part of it.

Roll in order to hit

Now it is the turn for your aiming to do miracles. In order to make your shot impact on the enemy, you have to roll 1d20 dice and obtain a result equal or superior to 14

Easy? Don’t be so quick. Your result will be decreased by 2 factors.

24

Second Release: September 2014

Speed and distance.

Speed: Unlike the melee attack, the ‘’-1’’ factor here is used by the defending player in order to decrease the result of the attacking player.

Distance: How far your objective is also helps your shoot to miss by the following scheme:

10 - 0 cm: You don’t have any negative point.

15 - 11 cm: Your roll will be decreased by 1 point.

20 - 16 cm: Your roll will be decreased by 2 points.

<20 cm: Your roll will be decreased by 3 points.

The distance add-ons may change if you have a sniper rifle or an accessory that helps you with the aiming.

Roll in order to damage

If your attack was a success and you hit your enemy, you may roll 1d100 dice. The result will be added to the minimum damage done by your weapon.

Saving Throws

If you missed your shot, the enemy has the chance to roll 1d4 to move in any direction he wants. The result will be increased by the ‘’+1’’ given thanks to speed on Evasion.

This will be really helpful for melee units.

Remove casualties

The Hit Points lost (HP) must be eliminated from the gunpla at last. If the gunpla was destroyed, now it is the time to remove him from the game.

You can shoot up to 3 times in 1 turn, but every shot have to keep the steps mentioned.

Shields

Shields are made to protect you from ranged attacks, however they aren’t useful for close combat because they can resist beam saber slides or swords slides.

So… How do they work?

There are a lot of different shields, however if they doesn’t have any other special ability they have a HP equally to 700.

But however one conditions is needed in order to use them, this is:

 Your unit must have a shield attached in order to use it.

So, once you have been targeted by a long/mid-range unit and it succeeded you can roll1d6 and if you got a result equal to 5 or higher than that you will be able to block that attack. Remember to use the shields at the right moment, we don’t want to lose the game because we couldn’t avoid the last hit.

HOW TO BLOCK AN ATTACK

You opponent decides to shoot you, and his attack succeed, right now if your unit has attached to it a Shield you can roll 1d6 and two thing can happen:

 You got a result ≥ 4 then you can block that attack with your shield and it loses the amount of HP equal to the damage received (Power of the weapon + Unit Fire Power Boost + 1d100).  You go a result < 4 and because of this you can’t block the attack and your unit loses HP equal to the damage received (Power of the weapon + Unit Fire Power Boost + 1d100)

Barriers

Created as the best way to protect your unit this special ability can only be activated before an attack, they can protect your unit from all the damage of the opponent. However, really powerful attacks can breakthrough

So… How do they work?

When you are being attacked you can roll 1d6 if:

 You got a result ≥ 4 then you can block that attack

 You go a result < 4 and because of this you can’t block the attack and your unit loses HP equal to the damage received (Power of the weapon + Unit Fire Power Boost + 1d100)

They consume 30% out of your Unit total energy, so their cost is high and some attacks may get through because their real effect is the following one:

-5 in your opponent 1d20 shooting and close combat attack roll, this way if their mark was 20 their attack can get through the barrier and hit your unit.

They don’t have any other special skill or as what happens with certain skills, they don’t injure your machine.

Bit and Funnels

Bits appeared at first glance with “Gundam 00”, but after that they have appeared in other series. Designed to help your machine performance they can shoot and protect your unit.

They work independent because of this you will probably need a stand, as said before you can shoot up to times every turn, and however you can’t slides with them.

They can move 1d6 per turn.

Bits have their own Hit Points and Energy, every bit have 200 Hit Points and 100 Energy Points they also have their own battery. Once they have gone out of energy they have to go back to your Mobile Suit and wait for 6 turns to appear.

Hit Points 200 Energy 100 Damage 20 + Fire Power Boost Energy They waste 10 per Movement 20 per shoot.

Also, Bits can create Barriers to protect your Unit against attacks.

Each bit can attack one time per turn independent from its unit, only 3 bits are allowed to stay on the field. They can evade close and ranged attacks the same way as unit does.

Funnels are slightly different, they first appeared in the Universal Century line and were designed with the aim to destroy enemies and help Newtype pilots.

To sum up, they were made with an offensive intention and not a protection one, their Hit Points and Energy differ in every Unit but the general rule is that they’ve got a 15% out of your unit Hit Points and Energy

They can move 1d4 per turn.

Hit Points 200 Energy 300 Damage 30 + Fire Power Boost Energy They waste 5 per Movement 25 per shoot.

How much energy does attacking consume

Whenever you want to do a close combat attack you lose an amount of energy, this amount is related to how much energy does it cost to move your unit arm.

The amount you have to pay in order to do a close combat attack is 20 Energy Points when it is the first attack, if you unit is double wielded the second attack will cost 100 Energy Points so an efficient attack with a unit which is double wielded will cost 120 Energy Points.

This may look like a lot of energy but remember that every two turns your unit will recover 300 Energy Points so you shouldn’t worry a lot about it.

Talking about Ranged Weapons the cost of its using its different and it is according to its firepower and type. There are two types of ranged weapons:

The Ones which work with ammo (In the list ammo refers to the amount of bullets that weapon magazine has) you will usually need to equip in your inventory about 6 magazines and you must claim to have care packages around the field in order for you to recover magazines.

Each Care Package has 6 magazines of different weapons within it, when you open one you are able to choose which magazine links with each weapon.

The other kind of ranged weapons are the ones which work with energy points, the cost depend on the damage they do:

Any energy ranged weapon spend its Damage +10 as Energy Points with a minimum cost of 5 Points

Special Abilities

“Skill” is a new feature which has been included in the second version of the Gunpla Battle Board game, they boost your unit potential. However, they both can’t be used more than 2 times in a battle:

This means that in a team battle with 3 units per team there will be approximately 12 skills, choose when to use each one wisely.

There are two different types of Special Abilities: Actives and Passives.

Active Abilities Passive Abilities

They cost an amount of Energy They doesn’t cost energy, (If not specified, they cost 40 however they need some Energy Points) and must be conditions in order to be activated in your turn. activated.

This act as a complete action You don’t need to activate them as if they were an active ability, when the conditions

are met you just need to say the skill in order to activate it.

I will have immediate effect

You may choose up to 2 skills per unit, you are allowed to choose a skill from the following list. Please respect each Unit Era and technology.

Customs Mobile Suits doesn’t follow this rule, you are free to choose up to 2 skills independent from the suit era or technology.

We must explain how they work:

When we say that a boost last 2 turns after activation what we mean is that It will have effect in your next attack, this is how it will be:

Activate Ability > your enemy Turn > your turn (THE EFFECT WILL BE CONSIDERED HERE)

There are some skills that enhance your team units boost duration, this means that the following skill that you activate will last longer (normally its duration last 2 more turns).

Credits

Thanks to everyone that helped in the project, even thought that it is not finished, I’m trying to deliver more and more updates whenever I can.

The Game seems to be really fun but needs more people since I am the only one who is updating the rulebook. Any help is welcomed.

All the photos belong to their respective owners I have used them only to represent how the units are and to give a more detailed example.

Ah, I almost forget it. I must give special credit to SDGO (Super Deformed Gundam Online) which was a really useful tool, it allowed me to create the skills and specify their effects, I’m really grateful and I must say that most of the names came from that game. If you have the chance to play this game, do it.

So here are the ones who have helped in the project.
