2020-05-25 SEX TRAFFICKING in YOUR Community Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10 Evil is the misuse of love. Good is the right and proper use of love. Good and evil started from one point--love. If we love God, that is all right. But if we love something or someone against God's will, that is evil. If we love someone or something in accordance with God's will, that is good. SMM, The Way of Tradition, Volume II Greetings! Hyung Jin Nim thanked the Sanctuarians who traveled to Allentown to pray in front of an abortion clinic. As a consequence of one mother making a decision for life, 2 twins were saved from death! He also announced the matching of his second son Shin Man with Dong Hee Jin, a blessed child in Korea. After the announcements, he showed Craig Sawyer's Contraland documentary on Sex Trafficking. Mr. Sawyer, who spoke at last year's Freedom Festival and will return again next October, got pressure to remove the sections about government officials being arrested for sex trafficking, but refused to do so. He has also had his Instagram and Twitter accounts shut down many times. Contraland tells the stories of how girls and boys as young as 12 years old are pimped by men and women out to pedophiles in communities all across America every day and how a team of committed veterans is capturing these perverts. The documentary shows a group of veterans who spot cartel traffickers which operate inside the U.S.A border with Mexico. It also shows the veterans and other citizens cooperating with local law enforcement in Connecticut and Utah to arrest predators. Craig Sawyer's own daughter Aspen was raped at age 18 for 5 hours and works to capture predators pretending to be a young teen for sale. Here are some of the points made in the documentary: Child sex trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise on earth. It generates an estimated $38 billion dollars each year in the U.S. Blackmail involving pedophilia is at the root of much of America's political corruption. 30,000 victims of sex trafficking die each year from abuse, disease, and neglect, some as young as six years old. Over 71% of trafficked children show suicidal tendencies. Sex traffickers condition their male and female victims with starvation, rape, gang rape, physical abuse, beating, confinement, forced drug use, and shame. No matter what town you live in, it's likely this is going on in your community. Sanctuary Church Sunday Service 5/24/2020 Boys as young as 8 years old are exposed to porn on the Internet and later become predators. Fatherless children or those with absentee or uninvolved dads are the most vulnerable to traffickers. The documentary includes a testimony of a girl who was trafficked by her own mother and a Treasury Department investigator arrested for sex with 13 year old girl. Pornography sites are often controlled by criminal organizations. Public figures who frequent them can be blackmailed and controlled for political purposes. Hyung Jin Nim explained passionately that in Cheon Il Guk (the Heavenly Nation) there will severe consequences for predators. We've been conditioned to be tolerant of everything. But we must not be tolerant of that which can destroy our children. Porn desensitizes. These predators must be severely punished, after due process obviously. Parents, both men and women, need to realize there are predators roaming on the Internet. After posting an ad for child sex, 5,000 LOCAL requests were received within 30 days. The fallen Eve culture wants to protect the predators, because she is working with him. Young boys need to see predators punished. We should not depend on "the government" to solve this problem. Even average citizens have sent out ads pretending to offer sex with underage girls and then posted videos of pedophile "customers" coming to a Walmart to meet for that purpose. ********** A LETTER TO REV. KWAK Vienna, May 23, 2020 Dear Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak! My name is Johann Hobl from Vienna, Austria. I am part of the 118 couples Blessing in London in 1978. My wife Madeleine is from France. We have four children. I received your letter from April 22, 2020 and read it with great interest. I have some serious questions about what you wrote in your letter. You speak a lot about Hyun Jin Nim and his Inauguration as vice-president of FFWPU in July 19, 1998. True Father spoke greatly about Hyun Jin Nim's mission and responsibility. I also honor your Introductory Address as well at Hyun Jin Nim's Inaugural Address. I would like to share with you some words of True Fathers speech, during the Inauguration Ceremony, it is printed in Today's World Magazine from July 1998: My advice today to my son Hyun Jin is to please maintain a standard of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience in front of God, in front of True Parents, in front of his spouse and in front of all Family Federation members. I order to establish the completed foundation of the fourth Adam and the realm of the fourth Adam. Hyun Jin Nim still has a course to go on the family level, clan level, tribal level and national level. Therefore he has to apply his absolute standard of faith, love and obedience before everyone. Here are the last words True Father spoke in his speech to Hyun Jin Nim: From Hyun Jin Nim's point of view, if True Father asks him to do ten things, Hyun Jin Nim would come and say, "Father, that is not enough, I will do 1,000 things." As long as this kind of relationship exists between Hyun Jin and myself, the future of the Unification Church FFWPUI will be great. Amen, amen, amen. Through this words I see, True Father awaited a close relationship and sincerity in Hyun Jin Nim`s faith, love and obedience, but 10 years later, what did True Father say? On April 16, 2008 True Father said: I can leave someone in charge of my work on my behalf. Currently, there is no one among our church members who surpasses Hyung Jin in his standard of faith or in any other way. Do you understand? I am appointing him. Two days later on April 18, 2008 True Father held the Inauguration of Hyung Jin Nim as international President and regional President of FFWPU in Korea. True Father's prayer and speech I found in Todays World May 2008 There is a serious question: What happened with Hyun Jin Nim? True Father gave Hyun Jin Nim no further responsibilities. My question now is: Why didn't you mention Hyung Jin Nim even once in your letter? (Read rest of Johann Hobl's "Letter to Rev. Kwak") ********** Hak Ja Han Crosses the Finish Line, Alone On May 8, 2020 the Only Begotten Daughter told Unificationists that ONLY she, not True Father, crossed the finish line, saying: For 54 years True Parents have been running this marathon. In 2013, on January 13, True Parents (Hak Ja Han) proclaimed Foundation Day and who guided everyone (across) the finish line? ONLY True Mother crossed the finish line. 5/8/2020 HJH Calls True Father a Failure Whom She Forgave It makes sense if you think about it. She teaches that she was born sinless and that on 3.16.1960 Sun Myung Moon's Original Sin was removed when he married her. On July 1, 2014 at the Cheon Jeong Gung Palace she said, "The process of changing the lineage occurred while I was in my mother's womb. This is something you have to believe." On December 30, 2016, Mother said at a meeting at the Cheon Jeong Gung palace with 200 wives of families who received the Holy Blessing between 1960 and 1968: "Father, who was born with original sin, could have that original sin removed as a result of meeting me, the only begotten daughter born into this world without original sin. Father was not supposed to marry any other woman before meeting me."[i] [i] "Parents' Special Gathering for Early Woman Leaders" http://familyfedihq.org/2016/12/true-parents-news-weekly-update-108/True (Read rest of "Hak Ja Han Crosses the Finish Line, Alone") ********** UNIFICATION SANCTUARY USA EMAILS 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 ********** Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery by Marie Koh In this incredible age of the internet where the purchase of goods online is but a click away from a lap-top, a virtual world of the indulgences of the flesh emerges; it is one of a much darker kind - the cybercrime of child sex trafficking. This heinous criminal activity of 'selling and buying' of online sex trafficking has found its way into the home of almost anyone who possesses a computer device. This underworld of internet perpetrators operates in broad daylight every day under the guise of dating agencies, video game chat rooms, forums, and websites of all kinds. A perpetrator has the ability to reach a child without the consent of a parent or being recognized as a threat. In addition to this, pedophile rings circulate in rich and poor neighborhoods alike, they can pose as a 'friend,' relative or neighbor. They can be living on your street, work at your local food store, school, a favorite charity organization, and many times, they just look like regular folks. Tragically, human trafficking is big business.

Summary Report & Reflections ‘The Life and Legacy of SMM and the Unification Movements in Scholarly Perspective’ Faculty of Comparative Study of Religion and Humanism (FVG) Antwerp, Belgium 29-30 May 2017 __________________________________________________________________ Organized by: The European Observatory of Religion and Secularism (Laïcité) in partnership with Faculty of Comparative Study of Religion and Humanism (FVG), CESNUR & CLIMAS (Bordeaux) This is a summary-report and a reflection on the recent conference in Antwerp, Belgium. The text is a compilation of impressions and reflections by Dr. Andrew Wilson, Dr. Mike Mickler, Dan Fefferman, Hugo Veracx, Peter Zoehrer and Catriona Valenta. The number of participants (including scholars & organizers) was around 40: 15 persons belonging to Sanctuary Church, 8 participants from the Preston (H1) group, 8 from FFWPU and 9 neutral (ex-members, scholars, etc.). The conference was devoted almost exclusively to examining the background and development of the schisms that have emerged in the Unification Movement since the death of the founder. DAY ONE The first day was consistent with the conference theme of the „Life and legacy of Sun Myung Moon and Unification Movements“ in a scholarly perspective. Dr. Eileen Barker led off with an excellent keynote address titled "The Unification Church: A Kaleidoscopic History." She looked at the UM as a religious movement, a spiritual movement, a charismatic movement, a messianic movement, a millenarian movement, a utopian movement, a political movement, a financial-business movement, a criminal movement, a sectarian movement, a denominationalizing movement, and a schismatic movement. It was a good introduction to the conference as a whole. Alexa Blonner followed with a very excellent presentation on the UM's antecedents in Neo-Confucian thought and also the ways in which the UM went beyond that heritage.

"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good-except God alone." Mark 10:18 To achieve this, someone on behalf of God must be victorious over Satan, both as an individual and as an adopted son. Moreover, as a child of direct lineage, he must fight with the satanic world and win over it for God. CSG 192 Greetings! In Hyung Jin Nim's sermon on Sunday, he explained that thos e using a rod of iron especially need a sound mind. You never can take back a bullet. Be careful not to be a moral posturer or practice self-idolatry. Jesus said no one is good except God.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:5-6 In the beginning of history, Eve fell because she did not become one with God. If she had obeyed God's commandment, even at the cost of her life, and walked the road of death gladly, the fall would not have occurred. Accordingly, today Unification Church women should pledge their lives, hold on to God, and march forward. SMM, Blessing and Ideal Family, Chapter 5: "The Formula Course for Perfection" Greetings! In Sunday's powerful service Hyung Jin Nim discussed how many non- biblical movements are leading people away from God, like the Han Mother saying there is no benefit from studying the Old Testament, the New Testament words of Jesus, and Completed Testament words of True Father (see graphic below). Just like the Israelites who tried to be multi-cultural and were absorbed into the Assyrian culture. The Bible has real-life stories to guide us. If you take the story of God out of this context, the Messiah doesn't mean anything. Or you can portray Christ as a socialist and relativist. Sunday Service - April 7, 2019 - Rev. Hyung Jin Moon Unification Sanctuary, Newfoundland PA It is heartbreaking to report to Unificationists that on Saturday, April 6 in her "Peace Starts with Me" speech in Los Angeles, Hak Ja Han informed the audience that it was "greed" that led the human ancestors to fall (see video).

Washington Times' Co-founder vows to strengthen its position as defender of American values Guy Taylor June 7, 2021 "I wish to strengthen the presence of The Washington Times in the heart of D.C. so that The Times can forge stronger ties to better report on and inform American leadership," said Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. (Associated Press) The co-founder of The Washington Times praised the publication's legacy in remarks over the weekend, vowing to strengthen its global reach and position as a defender of American values and leadership in the decades to come. "I wish to strengthen the presence of The Washington Times in the heart of D.C. so that The Times can forge stronger ties to better report on and inform American leadership," said Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, who helped to establish the newspaper in 1982 with her late husband, the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Through six American presidencies and a period of profound global change, The Times has been providing a strong conservative voice in Washington to promote American values - freedom, faith and family - while also challenging a U.S. media establishment that caters increasingly to coastal elites. The Cold War and the communist Soviet bloc were in full flourish when The Times first hit newsstands on May 17, 1982. The paper quickly became a staple of hard-hitting and balanced deep-dive journalism, with a world-renowned conservative commentary section underpinned by the values of freedom and democracy. Asserting that America today faces a crossroads, Mrs. Moon said the efforts to embolden The Times on the turbulent U.S.

  • 6 Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church
CULTS – Sunday School Notes – 6 Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church The cults that we have discussed so far are very close to orthodox Christianity in the sense that they are easily mistaken as “the real thing” by those who do not know the Word of God very well. We will now come to those cults that mix in elements from other religions and make claims that are simply absurd from the Christian perspective. Nevertheless, they find enough followers, particularly among those who feel spiritually needy but are quite distant from the Christian faith. They promise them a spiritual solution to their problem, inner healing, and true fellowship – and all this sounds so much more believable than the preaching of the many lifeless Christian churches. They are usually backed up by a powerful organizational structure with a lot of financial support, and a strong public presence – particularly on the World Wide Web, which they use to recruit new members. Today, we want to talk about Sun Myung Moon’s Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, briefly called the Unification Church or sometimes simply the Moonies. They claim that We now have the means to heal all modern-day human problems, exalt every human soul, and bring the kingdom of God within the reach of every man. According to Reverend Sun Myung Moon, a title he gave to himself when he founded his church in 1954, this all-embracing claim is based on new revelations from God which were given to him in order to “complete the task of establishing God’s kingdom on earth and bringing piece to mankind”.

All are New Religious Movements which have undergone significant changes over the last few decades. Afe Adogame finds that this book is a must-read for scholars of NRMs, historians of religion, social scientists, and policy makers. Revisionism and Diversification in New Religious Movements. Eileen Barker (ed.). Ashgate. 2013. Find this book: New religious movements (NRMs) – and in actual fact any religious phenomena – is hardly static and unchanging, but dynamic and constantly in flux. Religion is not a museum piece nor a tourist-trod monument, but a vibrant force in people’s lived experiences and expressions. This collection of 17 essays considers the different ways in which certain practices in NRMs change or become neglected as the movements themselves develop or fade away. The essays demonstrate the ways in which ‘religious realities are actually constructed and reconstructed’ (p. 260), and reflect a diversity of approaches, each providing a critical, scholarly perspective. Contributors include academics writing with a multidisciplinary focus, as well as current and ex-members of NRMs, and advocates of ‘cult awareness’. This selection of contributors is a real strength of the collection. By exploring NRMs beyond their foundational histories, with a special focus on dynamics of change, resilience and transformation of beliefs and rituals, and schisms and diversification, the contributors catapult the study of NRMs to a new level of discourse.

SCHISM in the Unification Church By Dan Fefferman, International Coalition for Religious Freedom Email – [email protected] Presented to the 2016 CESNUR Conference July 5 – 10, 2016, Daejin University, Republic of Korea Preliminary version. Please do not reproduce or quote without the consent of the author. This will be an update of my earlier paper, presented to the CENSUR conference in 2012.1 There have been major developments since then, beginning with the death of the UC’s founder. The initial schism in the Unification Movement began in 2008 when Rev. Moon’s then heir-apparent, Hyun Jin Moon, split from the main group after he was passed over in favor of the youngest son, Hyung Jin.2 After Rev. Moon passed away, Mrs. Moon took on the mantle of leadership, and since then the youngest son has formed a third faction. This paper will compare and 1 http://www.cesnur.org/2012/el-fefferman.docx 2 The names of the Moon children are often hard for non-Koreans to follow. Hyun Jin, the older son, is often called Preston. Hyung Jin, the younger of the two, is sometimes called Sean. describe each of the three groups and conclude with some thoughts about the future. The Death of Rev. Moon Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the founder and Messiah of the Unification Church, passed away on September 3, 2012. His funeral took place at the Church’s major complex in Cheong Pyeong on September 15 of that year. (The current CESNUR conference will have a field trip to the Cheong Pyeong site two days from now.) He was succeeded by his wife, Hak Ja Han Moon, who together with him shares the title of True Parents.

THE MISDEEDS OF HAK JA HAN It goes without saying that it is painful to proclaim this message. I. Hak Ja Han Did Not Achieve Individual Perfection – She Did Not Become One with True Father Did you know the following words are an accurate translation, spoken extemporaneously, from Father’s last public speech on July 16, 2012? Mother – she was raised by me. (But) there is no True Mother. The position of the wife of the Reverend Moon is vacant. She is doing as she pleases – according to her own whims! Hey! 1 2 With these videotaped words, True Father stated publicly to the world that Hak Ja Han was no longer in the position of True Mother. True Father had stated on May 11, 2007: Mother must now perfect herself by June 16, 2013.3 True Father said on October 15, 1999: Therefore, if Mother, who is present here, has [her] own thoughts and builds her own nest it will become a big problem. Rev. Moon will not be tangled up in that. But if that inevitably happens, I will jump over that. I will build [a] mountain again. Now we entered the Completion Era and if Mother does not fulfill her responsibility, there are plenty of candidates.4 1. He then said during Hoon Dok Hae on January 19, 2012: Mother is going her own way like a demon [dokkaebi]. She is not walking the same road as Father. Do not brag about Anju [Mother’s hometown] and the family name Han. If you do that you don’t become True Mother.

The impact of this movement and the two-way social change remain a rare subject of study and this paper aims to fill the gaps and to discuss contemporary situation in regards to its followers.
