The Reid Concert Hall will remain in use for evening concerts. Reid Concert Hall – Bristo Square, Edinburgh EH8 9AH 1 Pedestrian access to the main entrance is via Teviot Place. Temporary disabled access is provided via a ramp at the main entrance. Greyfriars Kirk - Greyfriars Place, Edinburgh, EH1 2QQ 2 Access to the church is via the gate in Greyfriars Place, through the Kirkyard and into the church via the vestibule. No parking of vehicles is allowed in the Kirkyard, with the exception of those dropping off disabled persons. City of Edinburgh Methodist Church - 25 Nicolson 3 Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9BX The concerts will take place in the large hall on the upper floor. Please enter via the Well Café on ground floor level and take the stairs or lift to the hall. Playfair Library Hall - Old College, South Bridge, 4 Edinburgh, EH8 9YL Pedestrian access to the Old College Quadrangle is via the entrance at South Bridge, or at West College Street. There is no vehicular access permitted into Old College Quadrangle.     THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH HERITAGE TRAIL WELCOME Since its foundation in 1583 the University of Edinburgh has been strongly linked to the city itself. Today the University’s iconic buildings form part of the historic fabric of the city, and represent a key element of Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site. It was in 1995 that the Old and the New Towns of Edinburgh were inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, recognising the unique quality and contrast in architecture between the two sides of the city. The University’s buildings reflect that historical and architectural importance, and were often at the centre of events in Edinburgh’s and Scotland’s history.
