Im Dezember 1898 rollte mit der «Voiturette» das erste Fahrzeug der Marke auf die Strasse. Bereits der kleine Zweisitzer setzte mit seinem kettenlosen Direktantrieb einen neuen Standard im Automobilbau und lieferte damit die Blau- pause für die nächsten zwölf Jahrzehnte, in deren Verlauf Renault immer wieder mit Innovationen und neuen Fahrzeugkonzepten für Aufsehen sorgte. So ist 2018 auch das Jahr zahlreicher weiterer Jubiläen in der bewegten Renault Historie: Vor 80 Jahren kam der Juvaquatre auf den Markt, vor 60 Jahren debütierte die Floride, vor 40 Jahren triumphierte Renault in Le Mans, und vor 20 Jahren eröffnete das Unternehmen sein Technocentre, um nur ein paar davon zu nennen. THE “RENAULT” BUSINESS AND THE VISIT OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN TRADE FROM FRANCE, CHARLES DE CHAMBRUN (1966) Antoaneta Laura SAVA Abstract: Because the representatives of the “Renault” and “Volkswagen” companies did not show any interest, in the period 1973–1976, for a collaboration in the direction expected by the authorities from Bucharest, Nicolae Ceauşescu agreed on the prime minister Manea Mănescu signing a contract and several industrial and financial collaboration agreements, with the purpose of producing, at Craiova, under French licence, the models “Citroën Visa Spécial” and “Citroën Visa Club” (called in Romania, “Oltcit Special” and “Oltcit Club”). Meanwhile, the collaboration of Romania with “Renault” National Administration continued according to the intentions expressed by the prime minister Raymond Barre and Manea Mănescu in Paris (the 17th of December 1976), and the Romanian-French agreement concluded in the summer of 1978 (Bucharest, the 12th of June 1978), having the purpose to certify the continuation of “Dacia 1300” production, along with certain subsets, electric engines, dashboard instruments and components for the machines used in the car industry from Romania. In the last decade, were written, both in Romania and abroad, several studies and analyses that refer to the success registered by “Renault” French company, on addressing “Dacia Logan”, “Dacia MCV”, “Dacia Sandero” and “Dacia Duster” car makes. First produced at the Colibaşi plant, they had, since the beginning, a low selling price, as compared to other makes of renowned companies. Due to a special interest manifested for understanding the manner in which “Dacia” products reached the commercial success during the period 2004–2014, we are to present, further on, the beginning of the cooperation between the authorities from Romania and the “Renault” company. -

DOSSIER DE PRESSE Septembre 2016 Renault Sport UNE PASSION INSCRITE DANS LES GÈNES DE RENAULT Depuis 118 ans, l’histoire de Renault est jalonnée d’innombrables défis. De l’ascension de la rue Lepic par la Voiturette de Louis Renault au retour de Renault Sport Formula One Team, le goût de la compétition est profon- dément ancré dans les valeurs de la Marque. Pour expliquer cet attachement, il n’est d’abord pas inutile de rappeler que le sport et la sportivité ont été des vecteurs de développement technologiques essentiels pour l’automobile contemporaine. Ainsi, la boîte de vi- tesses et le turbo ont été inventés par Renault au début de son histoire ! La création de Renault Sport en 1976 a marqué le début d’une nouvelle ère. En concentrant l’ensemble des savoir-faire au sein d’une même entité, Renault s’est d’abord lancé à l’assaut des circuits, pour décrocher douze titres mondiaux en Formule 1. Depuis, l’activité a également été étendue à la conception des modèles sportifs de la marque, régulièrement plébiscités pour leurs performances et leur rapport prix/plaisir imbattable. Quarante ans plus tard, les fondamentaux sont toujours là. Les engagements en Formule 1 et Formule E contri- buent à la fois à la notoriété du Groupe Renault et au développement des modes de propulsion d’un futur pas si lointain. Bénéficiant de technologies développées pour la piste, les modèles R.S., GT et GT-Line sont considérés comme les porte-drapeaux de la gamme Renault. Au volant, des centaines de milliers de conducteurs forment une com- munauté sans frontière, qui entretient la passion Renault Sport sur les routes de la planète. -
