In consideration of the agreement herein, Harbour Rentals, LLC (herein after referred to as the LESSOR) agrees to lease to the undersigned (herein after referred to as the LESSEE) the vessel and equipment as described herein. In the event the craft is not returned at the time specified herein, Lessee agrees to pay for OVERTIME CHARGES AT A RATE OF $75.00 PER HALF HOUR. Return time is listed above. The Lessee certifies that he/she will examine the craft and equipment prior to leaving the dock and note any propeller damage, fiberglass damage, rub rail damage, interior damage, or missing safety equipment. Any damage sustained to the Propeller will result in a fee of $125.00 for Stainless Steel to recondition the prop or $475.00 for Stainless Steel to replace the prop if damage is deemed extensive to recondition the prop. Any other damage sustained will result in the applicable charges as deemed necessary on the attached damage fee schedule. The Lessee agrees to report any accident malfunction or breakdown of the rental craft to the Lessor immediately at the Harbour Rentals, LLC office in accordance with the malfunction/breakdown clause which follows. This certifies that I (we), the Lessee(s) are capable in all aspects of the handling and operation of the craft such as the one rented above. Lessee agrees said vessel will not be occupied by a greater number of persons that shown in this rental agreement. I, the Lessee, will not remove any safety equipment from the vessel, unless an emergency occurs. I, the Lessee, am aware of NO WAKE ZONES and I am responsible for any damages caused by my wake. WATER SKIING, TOWING OF INFLATABLES, TOWING IN GENERAL, BEACHING AND NIGHT OPERATION OF RENTAL BOATS IS FORBIDDEN, NO EXCEPTION, THE LESSEE IS LIABLE. If a malfunction or breakdown was to occur, Harbour Rentals, LLC must be notified immediately of the problem and your general location. DO NOT KEEP RUNNING THE MOTOR IF YOU HEAR THE ENGINE ALARM SOUNDING OFF, OR IF YOU RUN AGROUND. I have been instructed on the procedure for contacting Sea Tow in the event that I require towing. I understand that Harbour Rentals, LLC will not come out to tow the rental boat for any reason. This service is provided through Sea Tow only. I authorize and allow Harbour Rentals, LLC to charge my credit card for ANY damages or loss of equipment. The boat rental price does not include refueling or tax. THE BOAT MUST BE REFUELED UPON RETURNING TO THE MARINA TO THE SAME LEVEL AS WHEN BOAT WAS PICKED UP. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED FOR OVER FUELING THE BOAT. THE LESSEE AGREES THAT HE/SHE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS FOR DAMAGES TO THE VESSEL AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGED BY THE BOAT. The Lessee agrees that he/she will hold Harbour Rentals, LLC harmless from all claims due to his/her negligence. I have been instructed as to the on water boundary requirements while using the rental boat and I agree to properly follow all of the guidelines set forth. I AGREE NOT TO TAKE THE RENTAL BOAT OUTSIDE OF THESE BOUNDARIES. I understand that I can refer to the provided rental charts for these boundaries. NOTE: If you are boarded by the Marine Patrol or U.S. Coast Guard, the boat registration information is inside the provided waterproof pouch as shown on the boat. You are responsible to operate the vessel in a safe manner, and follow all of the maritime laws. If you do not know how to navigate waterways, please make the Harbour Rentals staff aware of this. There are Captains available for hire with advanced notice. You will be made aware of the location of all the USCG safety equipment prior to leaving the dock. Please make the Harbour Rentals staff aware if you are taking any small children under 90 lbs. on the boat with you. They will need special life vests that must be picked up in the rental office prior to leaving the dock. NOTICE TO OPERAOR OF VESSEL: You are responsible for the safety of your passengers at all times, while the vessel is being rented. Be sure to keep an eye on young children, and advise your passengers who are not good swimmers to wear life vests while on onboard. DUI rules still apply while operating a boat, so DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL WHILE OPERATING A BOAT. Be aware of the propeller while navigating and be sure to SHUT OFF MOTOR IF ANY SWIMMERS ARE NEAR THE VESSEL. At Harbour Rentals, LLC, we require that the operator must be 32 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Or at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license and a valid Florida Boating Safety license. The operator must also have a valid credit card to use or put on file for the boat rental. Are the boats equipped with safety gear? Our boats are equipped with all necessary Coast Guard safety equipment. This include life vests for both adults and children, throw cushions, dock lines and fenders, first aid kits, etc. How do I navigate the local waters? Our boats all come equipped with a GPS unit with electronic maps of the area. Also, we provide a hard copy map with cruising boundaries and local attractions to visit.
