The eligibility of contractor shall be strictly as per rule and condition notified vide NO. The participation in the tendering is restricted to the contractors domiciled in the territorial jurisdiction of Lower Dibang Valley District . If the district based entrepreneurs and professionals who have got their firm already registered as contractor under Arunachal Pradesh contracts enlistment Rules 2008 but have the address different from their domiciled territorial jurisdiction, they shall be allowed to participate in the tender on production of proof of permanent residence certificate in support of their claim. 3. Contractors who fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply. Joint ventures are not accepted:- a) Should have completed three Similar nature of works each of value 40% or two Similar nature of work of value 60% or one similar nature of works value of 80% during last five year. b) Should have had an average annual financial turnover of 50% in construction works during last three years upto 31.3.2017. c) Should have a Bank Solvency ( 40% as per CPWD Manual Appendix-20(E) or financial soundness certificate (Scanned copy of original solvency to be uploaded). d) The bidder shall have to submit Credit facility from Bankers of 10% of tender value. e) The bidder shall have to submit an affidavit to invest up to 25% of tender value. 11 4. The intending bidders must read the terms and conditions of CPWD-6. He should only submit his bid if he considers himself eligible and he is in possession of all the documents required. 5. Information and instructions for bidders posted on website shall form part of Bid documents. 6. The bid document consisting of plans, specifications, the schedule of quantities of various types of items to be executed and the set of terms and conditions of the contract to be complied with and other necessary documents can be downloaded from website https://pwdar.etenders.in 7. But the bid can only be submitted after depositing processing fee in favour of M/s Nextenders (India) Pvt.

These people in rural villages are still more or less dependent on herbal medicines in this age of modernization also for overcoming various diseases. A field survey was conducted in the year 2010 and 2011 using field schedules and interview was taken from randomly selected 35 respondents who are practicing ethnomedicinal treatments. An informant consensus factor (FIC) was derived to determine the homogeneity of respondent’s knowledge on various reported ethnomedicinal plants. The study revealed 26 plant species belonging to 18 families used for treating various human ailments. The most common medicinal plants belong to shrubs (46%) followed by trees (35%) and herbs (19%). In most of the cases the leaves are used as medicines. However, roots, barks, stems and sometimes the whole parts of plants are also used as ethnomedicines. The respondents have good knowledge of the medicinal plants as revealed by the consensus analysis.

This legislation has been created for every citizen, to hold the instrumentalities of Governance accountable on a day to day basis. The legislation perceives the common man as an active participant in the process of nation building by conferring on him a right to participate in the process through the implementation of the Right to Information Act. It is more than a decade Since the RTI Act has been in operation in the State. The State Information Officers and Appellate Authorities are quasi judicial functionaries under the RTI Act with distinctive powers and duties and they constitute the cutting edge of this “Practical regime of information”, as envisaged in the preamble of the Right to Information Act.

Ramesha2 and Channakeshava3* 1Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh, India 2Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry, Agriculture College, Hassan, Karnataka, India *Corresponding author ABSTRACT A field study on Characterization of soils of Lower Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh, North East India was carried out at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh North East India during 2017-18. The soil properties of different villages revealed that the soil reaction (pH) ranges from 4.3 to 5.3. The lowest soil pH was recorded in Rayang village and the higher pH value of 5.3 recorded in Kangkog, Balek and Rukmo villages. Organic Carbon values ranged from 0.80-2.00 and are categorized as medium to high in range. The soluble salt content of soil measured in terms of electrical conductivity of soil solution (dS/m) which recorded as normal in range in all the soils of the villages (0.02 to 0.3 dS/m). The soils of different villages, 23.0 percent of soil samples belongs to low category with respect to available nitrogen status and 40 percent of soil samples fall in the category K e yw or ds medium and high.

    DISTRICT DISASTER MANAGEMENT PLAN OF LOWER DIBANG VALLEY DISTRICT C H A P T E R - I I N T R O D U C T I O N The District Disaster Management Plan of Lower Dibang Valley, hereinafter referred as the Plan, is a multi-hazard response plan that assists and equips the district administration to organize its emergency preparedness for the pre, during and post disaster, so that response and mitigation functions timely and in an efficient manner within the district and also to extend the necessary support to the state and central government. It is a plan that focuses on operations, and defines the Characterization of responder agencies of the district, from within and outside the government. District Profile The Lower Dibang Valley is the 15th district of Arunachal Pradesh which came into existence on 14th of November 2001, and Roing being its district headquarter. The district is situated in between 27degree 30 minutes N to 28degree 38 minutes N latitude and the longitude between 95 degree 15 minutes E to 96 degree 30 minutes. This district has 3900 sq.km area and shares its border with Dibang Valley in the North, Assam in the South, Lohit in the East and East Siang in the west. It stretches from snowcapped mountain in the north to the plains of the Brahmaputra in the South. It has the green lush forest with deep rivers like Dibang, Deopani, Ithu, Eze, Iphi. Aba, Chifu, Sisiri, Dotoung and their various tributaries. The major part of the district is covered by reserve forest which helps forest and environment departments in revenue earning activities.
