Sustainability Appraisal In line with the Council’s statutory obligations and with extant Government guidance, the Council has undertaken a Sustainability Appraisal (SA) to assess the environmental and sustainability impacts of the Masterplan. Consultation on the SA Scoping Report was carried out from October to November 2011. This was followed by the publication of the SA accompanying the draft masterplan in May 2012 and the final version of the SA which accompanies this document.
