Each year the Clay Coun- ty Courier, local businesses and our readers celebrate the first baby born within the city limits of Corning. 2021 will mark the 56th year of the First Baby of the Year Contest and before we launch our contest for the 2021 baby in January, we want to check in on our 2020 First Baby of Corning, Ky- son Drew McMasters. Kyson is the son of Randy and Whitney McMasters. Randy works at Farm Service and mother, Whitney is a teacher at Park Elementary. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 1-quart baking dish. In a medium bowl, mix together artichoke hearts, spinach, mayonnaise, Parmesan and 2 cups of Mon- terey Jack cheese. Transfer mixture to the prepared bak- ing dish, and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of jack cheese. Bake in the center of the preheated oven until the Homemade Cheese Crackers cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
