I. DRIVEN PEOPLE ARE...

A. ______satisfied only by accomplishment.

B. ______preoccupied with accomplishments and status.

C. ______caught in the pursuit of expansion.

D. ______have a limited regard for integrity.

E. ______possess undeveloped people skills.

F. ______highly competitive.

G. ______abnormally busy.

II. CALLED PEOPLE...

A. ______understand stewardship. “John replied, ‘No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven. You yourselves know how plainly I told you, ‘I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for Him.’ It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at His success. He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.’” John 3:27–30 (NLT) pg. 741

B. ______know who they are. “You yourselves know how plainly I told you, ‘I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for Him.’” John 3:28 (NLT) pg. 741

III. HOW DO WE CHANGE OUR MOTIVATION?

A. ______Own we’ve not been paying attention to our inner life.

B. ______Order our private world. “It was now the fifteenth year of the reign of , the Roman emperor. was governor over ; Herod Antipas was ruler over ; his brother Philip was ruler over and Traconitis; was ruler over Abilene. and were the high priests. At this time a message from God came to John son of Zechariah, who was living in the wilderness.
