The first F-J congress was organized by Prof. Alain Bourjault and Prof. Yukio Saito in 1992 in Besancon France. In 1996 the F-J congress was jointed with Europe-Asia Congress to extend the countries of researchers. After the first congress, we had 8 conferences in France and Japan, and each congress was very successful and friendly meeting with more than 100 remarkable researchers. The 9th congress was organized by Prof. Jean-Yves Choley in Paris. We are proud to hold this traditional congress at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Tokyo. Each paper submitted to the conference was put through a rigorous peer review planned by the respective track organizers. We would like to thank the track chairs and the session organizers for their management of the presentations. We also appreciate all contributions and cooperation by the committee members, sponsoring societies and organizations towards the success of the conference. The main objective of Mecatronics2014- Tokyo is to provide a forum for researchers, educators and engineers in the general field of mechatronics to disseminate their latest research results and work up technical interests in the future research directions of the related fields. This congress reflects ever-growing interests in the broad research fields of mechatronics. 74 papers from 13 countries including 23 contributed papers, 51 papers for special sessions were accepted for oral presentation at the congress after IEEE IES review process. Presentations at Mecatronics2014-Tokyo are organized in 2 parallel tracks, for a total of 14 sessions, taking place during the three congress days. We have the fortune to be able to invite some distinguished speakers to deliver plenary talks. We would like to thank all the members of authors, plenary speakers and attendees for their support and participation. We wish to express our most sincere appreciation and thanks to all the individuals who have contributed to the organization of this congress. Our special thanks are extended to our colleagues in the Scientific Committee for their review of all the submitted papers, which is important for the success of this congress, and the Track Chairs and the Session Organizers for their attractive proposal of sessions. No part of this publication may be reproduced without the written permission of the copyright owner Abstract This study aims to demonstrate the different experiences in the Japanese domestic air transport market compared to those of the intra-EU market as a result of liberalisation along with the Slot allocations from 1997 to 2005 at Haneda (Tokyo international) airport and to identify the constraints for air transport liberalisation in Japan. The main contribution of this study is the identification of the structure of deregulated air transport market during the process of liberalisation using qualitative and quantitative techniques and the provision of an analytical approach to explain the constraints for liberalisation. Moreover, this research is considered original because the results of air transport liberalisation in Japan are verified and confirmed by Structural Equation Modelling, demonstrating the importance of each factor which affects the market. The Tokyo domestic routes were investigated as a major market in Japan in order to analyse the effects of liberalisation of air transport. The Tokyo routes market has seven prominent characteristics as follows: (1) high volume of demand, (2) influence of slots, (3) different features of each market category, (4) relatively low load factors, (5) significant market seasonality, (6) competition with high speed rail, and (7) high fares in the market.

A. Effectivity This Service Bulletin is applicable to Vision-1 P/N 3015-XX-XX configured with SCN 10.0 and later. B. Compliance Installation of Terrain Database 1401 is optional. Consideration should also be given to the length of time since the database was last updated. Each Terrain Database incorporates all changes and updates from the previous databases. NOTICE This Terrain Database can be field loaded into Vision-1. Contact Universal Avionics to obtain database loading kit part number P12104 which includes the Field Loading Procedures, Zip disks and USB flash drives to load Terrain Database 1401. Loading terrain databases into Vision-1 requires a Solid State Data Transfer Unit (SSDTU) (P/N 1408-00-X or 1409-00-2) or DTU-100 (P/N 1406-01-X or 1407-01-1) with Mod 1 marked on the nameplate. For operators using a DTU-100 without Mod 1, the Vision-1 units should be sent to Universal Avionics for updating. The terrain database contains five disks with 450 Mb of data and takes over an hour to load. Because of this, DTU-100 units without Mod 1 may fail due to overheating causing the Vision-1 Terrain Database to become corrupted and the Vision-1 system unserviceable. If the Vision-1 unit is returned to Universal Avionics for update of the terrain database or because of failure during field loading, the repair center will update the database and perform any modifications and updates to the unit.

  • Joseph Swiencicki's Home of Record Is Listed As
    Joseph W. Swiencicki (1916 – 1945) Joseph Swiencicki’s Home of Record is listed as Chula Vista, CA. His wife, Mrs. Edna Fay Swiencicki lived at 575 H Street, Chula Vista, CA. He was an instructor at Bennett Field prior to enlisting in the Navy in January, 1942. Of note, there is a son named Joseph who was born in 1916 in Detroit, Michigan to Leon and Frances Swiencicki that would fit this profile, He is the only one found that does in the 1920 and 1930 census. He was a pilot flying in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WWII. Lieutenant Joseph Sweincicki was assigned to VPB-106, a Patrol Bomber squadron known as the “Wolverators” was commissioned at NAAS Camp Kearney, California on June 1, 1943. They trained for combat in California until their deployment to Hawaii. On August 18, 1943 the squadron deployed to Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii and flew the PY-1 Liberators. In September and October, VPB-106 conducted bombing and surveillance missions on the Japanese islands of Wake, Canton and Makin from Kaneohe and Midway islands. On October, 28, 1943, the squadron deployed to Carney Field, Guadacanal. The first combat missions from Guadacanal were scheduled on November 11, 1943, (World War I Armistice Day) and each day thereafter. The squadron operated with Bombing Squadron 104 (VB- 104) as the NAVY SEARCH GROUP conducting regular and special search operations in accordance with ComAirSoPac Search Plans 1-43 and 2-43. The search zone, fifteen degree sectors, covered the ocean area North West up the slot to Kavieng, New Ireland then north and east, including Nauru Island.

Conduct of appropriate accident investigations We conduct scientific and objective accident investigations separated from apportioning blame and liability, while deeply exploring into the background of the accidents, including the organizational factors, and produce reports with speed. At the same time, we ensure that the reports are clear and easy to understand and we make efforts to deliver information for better understanding. 2.     The Story of The “Billy Mitchell Group” 468 H-Bomb Group – From the C.B.I. to the Marianas COMBAT CHRONOLOGY OF THE US ARMY AIR FORCES 2 August 1939 In his letter on this date to President Roosevelt suggesting that an atomic bomb be developed, Albert Einstein feared that the bomb might very well prove too heavy for transport by air. 29 January 1940 Air Corps requirement issued for a heavy, four engine airplane that can fly at a speed of 400 mph, with a range of at least 5,333 miles carrying a bomb load of one ton. 8 September 1940 Boeing receives contract for two (later three) Model 345 bombers, designated XB-29, plus a test aircraft. 21 September 1942 The first XB-29 (41-0002) flew on September 21, 1942 at Boeing Field, Boeing's chief test pilot Edmund T. "Eddie" Allen being at the controls. 18 February 1943 The second XB-29 flew again on February 18, 1943, but an inextinguishable engine fire broke out just eight minutes into the flight, forcing an emergency return to the field. While attempting to land at Boeing Field, the fire burned through the main wing spars and caused the wing to buckle. The burning XB-29 plunged into the nearby Frye Meat Packing Plant factory, killing test pilot Eddie Allen and everyone else aboard, plus about 20 workers on the ground. 15 April 1943 The first YB-29 (41-36954) left the production line at Wichita on April 15, 1943, flying for the first time on June 26, 1943.
