Order of the Crown of Charlemagne in the Welcome New Members United States of America (OCC) We are pleased to welcome these new members admitted to the Order since the publication of Minutes Of The 2008 Executive Council and the last issue of “Jewels.” the 69th Annual Dinner Meeting, April, 2008 Allan Dell Ethan Rubio The 2008 Executive Council meeting of the OCC was held at the Metropolitan Craig Metz Club in Washington, DC, courtesy of Council Member Nicholas Donnell Janet DeVault Ward, Esq. Mary Dowling Edward Horton The Meeting of the Executive Council began with the presentation of the James Cantrell, II minutes of the 2007 OCC Executive Council Meeting. There being not Charles Owen Johnson, Esq. additions or corrections, the minutes were unanimously approved. Reports Anna Duff were given by the Officers. Virginia Hegseth Thomas Morrison Under old business the Council discussed and amended the 2007 resolution Diandra Wood on publication of members’ lineages. It was resolved that members who Paula Neal wish to have their lineages published on the Order’s web based data base Jordan Neal Stephen McLeod will be permitted to do so. A consent form will be required of those desiring Michal Ohlfs to have their lineages published in this medium. Only lineages of members Kinbroughly Morgan who give consent will be published. Ethel Mitchell Mary Faherty Under new business a motion was made by Tracy A. Crocker, seconded by Mitchell Hebner Charles A. Neuhauser, unanimously approved to increase the membership Samuel Faherty fee from $500.00 to $550.00 to include the new membership certificate. It James Faherty was moved by David von Nirschl, seconded by John Jones, and unanimously Lewis Allen approved that Jeff Sypeck be made an honorary life member of OCC. It was Kathy Wells moved by Charles Neuhauser, seconded by Nicholas Ward and unanimously Carol Dolson approved that the OCC “old records” stored at Timothy Beard’s home Agnes Newton be scanned for proper preservation with a ceiling of $10.000.00 for the Beveryly Nelson project. It was moved by John Jones, seconded by Charles Neuhauser, and Dorothy Baumgartner unanimously approved that the OCC celebrate its 70th anniversary in a Sheila McCartney joint meeting with the Order of the Merovingian Dynasty to celebrate its Richard L. Deavers 5th anniversary. President General Johnson appointed Mr. Timothy Beard Elizabeth Sherman as Chairman of the nominating committee. Jonathan Rhoades Edith Sachs Registrar General Tracy A.
