Recommend 2GB or higher. • Cable modem, DSL or better Internet connection. • Firewall port 443 must be open. 4 Get to know the iMeet for Desktop App. Launch iMeet from the desktop app (it’s the double e’s icon located on your desktop, system tray or menu bar). The app is optimized for the best meeting experience and the main place to – Manage contacts, Start your meeting and Join a meeting. Contacts Access to all your iMeet contacts. Start my meeting Instantly launches your iMeet room. Join a meeting Search iMeet hosts to join their meeting. Click to see who’s waiting in your meeting room. 5 Getting started. First time users If this is your very first time launching the iMeet app, you’ll see a Welcome Screen prompting you to get started and build your contacts. Current users If you’ve been using iMeet on any of your devices, your iMeet contacts will appear in the main home screen view. 6 Manage contacts. You can manage your contacts, search for other iMeet hosts in your company, and manually add new ones. Plus, iMeet will auto-sync your contacts across all your devices so you’re ready to meet and collaborate from anywhere you are. Search your saved iMeet contacts. Manually add new contacts. 7 Add iMeet contacts. Search company directory From the main desktop app, click ADD CONTACT. Start typing a name or email and iMeet will automatically search for all the iMeet accounts in your company directory. Select the contact, click ADD to save. Manually add new contact If a contact isn’t found when searching your company directory, you can manually create and save to your iMeet Contacts. Type to search iMeet accounts in your company directory. Manually create a new contact. 8 Start my meeting. When you click Start my meeting from the desktop app, your iMeet room opens and you’re automatically connected. Start my meeting Instantly launches your iMeet room. 9 Join a meeting. Provides easy access to search and join someone else’s iMeet meeting. Join a meeting Opens a panel to select whose meeting you want to join. 10 Join a meeting (continued). Search your saved Contacts and your company’s iMeet directory. You can also manually enter the host’s URL. First time users iMeet rooms will auto-populate as you build your iMeet contacts. Your iMeet cube provides a nice overview of who you are. Populate your profile by clicking the “i” to add photos, your bio and customize your room options. You can also link to your social media networks and cloud apps including Evernote, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. 14 Invite guests to your meeting. There are 3 ways for hosts to invite guests to the meeting. Email Use the iMeet Toolbar for Outlook to schedule guests to meet now or later. It opens an email prepopulated with all the meeting details and a single click to bring them right into your room. You can also select INVITE from your room’s menu bar to add guests. Call Have iMeet call your guests to join the meeting. • INVITE from menu bar and choose CALL A GUEST. • Select from MY CONTACTS or manually type contact info. • Click CALL URL Simply give guests your personal iMeet Meeting URL. 15 Connect your audio. There are 3 ways to connect your audio starting from the menu bar. CALL MY COMPUTER Connect through your computer’s VoIP with or without a headset. CALL MY PHONE iMeet will dial-out to your phone. No need to memorize access number or passcodes. DIAL-IN Provides a choice of access numbers and audio key so you can dial-in from any phone. 16 Meeting productivity. Get all your guests on the same page, in real-time, with iMeet Screen Share. You can also upload, access and share your files right from your room’s file cabinet, across any device and Pass Control to a meeting guest.. Share your screen. 1. Select SHARE from menu bar. 2. Select SHARE MY SCREEN. 3. You’ll be prompted to decide on the quality of your screen share – speed or clarity. 4. You can also pick which screen you want to share. Share a file. 1. Select SHARE from the menu bar. 2. Select SHARE A FILE. 3. Choose your file and click SHARE. • To zoom in, click the little “document bigger” icon in the upper left corner of the file. • Annotation tools are available in the upper right corner. • Click next to scroll through document pages.
