The Central Monitoring Cell worked out the said Elections and compiled a Booklet which after approval of the Chairperson was printed under the nomenclature of ‘Another Stain on the Face of Democracy’. In a press conference addressed by Makhdoom Amin Fahim President ARD flanked by Raja Pervez Ashraf Secretary PPPP, Sherry Rehman MNA, Central Information Secretary PPPP, and members of the Monitoring Cell, the Booklet was distributed and extracts whereof highlighted. Copies were also sent through the Foreign Liaison Committee- PPP to the International Community through their Embassies. The Chairperson was thereafter pleased to confer continuity to the Cell by redesignating it as the Central Election Monitoring Cell for overseeing the General Elections. The Monitoring cell has since been working very diligently and members have worked their hearts out.     PARLIAMENTARIANS TAX DIRECTORY FOR YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2018 (Published on 18th September 2020) FOREWORD Transparency in tax governance is key to ensuring an efficient, fair and sustainable tax system which, in turn, is critical for better economic management. Public access to information is an important milestone in ensuring transparency of tax system which is also a major pillar of reform agenda of the incumbent government. Against this backdrop, Federal Board of Revenue published first Tax Directory of Parliamentarians in tax year 2013. In continuation of this initiative, Tax Directory of the honourable Parliamentarians for the tax year 2018 is now published and available on FBR website for quick access. The directory contains tax details of Members of the Senate of Pakistan and Members of the National as well as Provincial Assemblies. I would like to appreciate the efforts of the Federal Board of Revenue for compiling and publishing the Tax Directory.
