Parliamentarians Tax Directory PARLIAMENTARIANS TAX DIRECTORY FOR YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2018 (Published on 18th September 2020) FOREWORD Transparency in tax governance is key to ensuring an efficient, fair and sustainable tax system which, in turn, is critical for better economic management. Public access to information is an important milestone in ensuring transparency of tax system which is also a major pillar of reform agenda of the incumbent government. Against this backdrop, Federal Board of Revenue published first Tax Directory of Parliamentarians in tax year 2013. In continuation of this initiative, Tax Directory of the honourable Parliamentarians for the tax year 2018 is now published and available on FBR website for quick access. The directory contains tax details of Members of the Senate of Pakistan and Members of the National as well as Provincial Assemblies. I would like to appreciate the efforts of the Federal Board of Revenue for compiling and publishing the Tax Directory. Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh Advisor to PM on Finance and Revenue This Directory has been tabulated from Returns filed manually and electronically (till 14-Sep-2020). Note: Certain Parliamentarians, whose names are marked by *, have share income as Members of Associations of Persons. Since, Association of Persons pay tax as a separate entity, such share is not taxable in the hands of the Members.
