Great read and some Good Points are madeBy CustomerStephen King is a very notable author and in this small piece, he discusses the facts and statistics he has found when it comes to gun violence in America and gives a very thoughtful opinion as to what he believes is the roght thing for to and he also subtley charges his audience to take action by doing the right thing. This piece was a nice read and it did provoke thought as to what I believe we should do in America to lessen gun violence and make this place safer for us as well as for generations to come.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Like alwaysBy C.M. buyerStephen King is a master, as we know. What I didn't know is that he is capable to write non-fiction with the same witty and adventurous taste as his fiction works.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An essay everyone shoulf read-- but those who need to most, won't.By Cathy G. ColeStephen King talking guns and gun control as only he can, with wit and common sense. It's a pity this will go unread by those who dismiss him as a liberal wingnut.

In a pulls-no-punches essay intended to provoke rational discussion, Stephen King sets down his thoughts about gun violence in America. Anger and grief in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School are palpable in this urgent piece of writing, but no less remarkable are King's keen thoughtfulness and composure as he explores the contours of the gun-control issue and constructs his argument for what can and should be done. King's earnings from the sale of this essay will go to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Stephen King is the author of 11/22/63, , , , and many other bestselling works.
