Throughout 2016, AlOthman celebrated 60 years of fashion. It’s a milestone we are very proud of. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our clients, our members, and the communities where we live and work, namely Kuwait, Bahrain, and London. To show our appreciation for many years of support, our yearlong company-wide celebration focused on giving back to the communities where we live and work. The highlight of our 60th Anniversary celebrations was launching AlOthman Scholarship, a fashion-based scholarship with Central Saint Martins, part of the University of the Arts London and one of the world’s most prestigious art and design schools. The Scholarship, facilitated by LOYAC, a Kuwait-based non-profit organization working towards the overall development of the youth, will help nurture the rising design stars of tomorrow, forge new links with emerging Middle Eastern designers, and commemorate AlOthman’s legacy by giving back to the community. Our charitable initiatives, highlighted in this issue of MUSE, did not end with 2016, we will continue to give back to this loving community, so stay tuned for more in 2017. And in other news, you might have already heard of our exciting new partnership with the56.com - a global by-invitation-only online shopping platform dedicated to the world’s most glamorous evening gowns. For the very first time, clients living outside of Kuwait and Bahrain will be able to shop our sensational range of evening gowns by the biggest names in fashion, all with the help of a professional team of experienced online stylists. That’s all for now. We hope this year will bring lots of love, joy, and peace throughout the globe. Now enjoy reading MUSE, your ultimate passport to summer style.
