Bolzano, 15 luglio 2021 - Porsche Holding Salzburg, il più grande distributore di automobili in Europa, continua il suo percorso di crescita in Italia con l’acquisizione di un altro dealer nel nord del paese, Autocentro Baistrocchi S.p.A., con sede a Parma in Emilia-Romagna. Nel 2020 Autocentro Baistrocchi S.p.A., che impiega 120 persone, ha consegnato 3.650 vetture nuove e 2.100 vetture usate, e ha generato un fatturato di 131 milioni di euro. L'azienda, che opera su quattro sedi (tre a Parma e una a Fidenza), si occupa della vendita e dell'assistenza dei marchi Volkswagen, ŠKODA, SEAT, Audi, Porsche e Volkswagen Veicoli Commerciali, nonché di Audi Prima Scelta Plus e Das Weltauto. L'acquisizione di Autocentro Baistrocchi S.p.A. è soggetta all'approvazione delle autorità europee Antitrust. Il rapporto della famiglia Baistrocchi con Volkswagen risale al 1950: è stata della famiglia Baistrocchi la prima concessionaria VW in Italia. Poco dopo, nel 1954, è stata avviata la collaborazione con Porsche, estesa poi ad Audi nel 1965 e a ŠKODA nel 1993.
