1. Washington Street Government Garage: Going south on 24 Hour Parking Garages Capitol Avenue head west onto Washington Street. Turn left onto Missouri Street and park in Garage #1. There are about 50 spaces for visitors and they fill up quickly. • Price – $15 for the first three hours; $25 for up to 24 hour maximum Capitol and Indiana Lot 300 N. Capitol Ave. 7 days a week 2. Senate Street Government Garage: Heading north on West Street, turn east onto New York Street. The entrance is to the right just across the canal bridge. The garage should have space for visitors when the General Assembly is not in session. During the Legacy Lot legislative session there will be no room in the garage for visitors. 340 N. Capitol Ave. • Price – $15 for the first three hours; $25 for up to 24 hour maximum 7 days a week

3. Eiteljorg and State Museum Garage: Off of Washington Street, the first driveway west of West Street on the right. World Wonders Garage The garage is underground and the area that is closest to the 100 S. Illinois St. government center is the Eiteljorg area. People can exit from the 7 days a week museum’s stairway or elevator onto the ground level from the garage. • Price – $5.00 for up to 12 hour maximum White River State Park-South Lot 650 W. Washington St. 4. Capitol Commons Parking Garage: West of Capitol Avenue, 7 days a week beneath the Simon Building and the park. You may enter the garage just west of the Simon Building. It can be entered and exited from either Washington Street or Maryland Street. Claypool Court Garage • Price – $11 for first three hours; $17 for up to 24 hour maximum 33 N. Capitol Ave. 7 days a week 5. Sport’s Spectrum Garage/Claypool Garage: On Capitol Avenue, south of Market Street, and across from the Statehouse. The garage can be reached from east (on the left) of Capitol Capitol Commons Garage Avenue. 10 S. Capitol Ave. • Price – $18 for first 12 hours; $22 for up to 24 hour maximum 7 days a week

How To: Look Up a Bill Online

1. Visit the Indiana General Assembly website: iga.in.gov. 2. On the top row, select Legislation. 3. Choose the subcategory under Legislation that best fits your search from the following: a. Bills: Select if you know the bill number or a keyword. This is also a full list of all filed bills. Once you choose a bill, the option to view the Latest Fiscal Note is available as a PDF in the left column. This is a good option if you are looking for short summaries of what the bill would do and how it would affect Indiana fiscally. b. Resolutions: Select to see all joint, concurrent and simple resolutions from the current year’s legislative session. c. By Legislator: Select if you are looking for a bill authored or co-authored by a specific legislator. Names are listed by district or alphabetically. d. By Subject: Select to search by subject alphabetically. Example: Aircraft, Bankruptcy or Cell Phones. 4. Committees: To see what bills are being heard by a specific committee, click on theCommittees tab in the top row and select either Standing or Conference, depending on which you are interested in. 5. Archives: To see a list of bills from previous sessions, under the Information tab at the top of the page, click on Archives. This will take you to a new page where you can choose the year you would like to view and if you would like to see House or Senate bills by a specific legislator.

How To: Find the Calendar of House and Senate Committee Meetings 1. Visit the Indiana General Assembly website at: iga.in.gov. 2. On the right side column the Upcoming Meetings will be listed. 3. For additional details, click on the calendar icon to the right to choose a date. 4. The agenda will specify the location and room number of the committee meeting.

How To: Watch Live Streaming Video of House and Senate Committee Meetings

1. Visit the General Assembly website at: iga.in.gov. 2. On the bottom right side click on Watch Live, either Senate or House. 3. Select the meeting you would like to watch from the right side. 4. A live streaming video of the committee will pop-up.

Please Note: Audio of House and Senate meetings can only be heard while the House or Senate is actually in session. Check the homepage of the General Assembly to find out the daily meeting times of the Legislature. Remember that while the House or Senate is in session, they may be in recess for caucus, lunch or dinner. At those times, nothing will be broadcast on the internet.
