It's only rock & roll | Pep Saña | Actualitzat el 25/09/2017 a les 14:31 Motörhead: Under Cöver un àlbum de versions L'icònica banda Motörhead va posar el punt i final amb la mort del seu líder Lemmy Kilmister el 28 de desembre de 2015. Els seus excompanys de banda, Phil Campbell i Mikkey Dee, van decidir al 2016 editar un dels últims concerts que Motörhead va oferir i que va ser batejat com Clean Your Clock (Live In Munich). Aquest material, si bé mostra a un Lemmy en un estat de salut delicat, força deteriorat i amb la veu apagada, es va convertir en un document molt apreciat per milers de fans que volien tenir-ne una còpia. Under Cöver és el títol del nou disc de Motörhead que va sortir a la venda el passat 1 de setembre, inclou una versió inèdita fins avui del Heroes de David Bowie gravada al 2015. En un parell setmanes d'aquell fatídic final de 2015, a la història del rock'n'roll se li va esquinçar l'ànima. El 28 de desembre s'apagava la veu de Lemmy Kilmister i el 10 de gener s'apagava la de David Bowie. Molts d'aquests covers no figuren als àlbums d'estudi de la banda com Breaking The Law, Heores, https://www.naciodigital.cat/bergueda/noticia/11049/mot-rhead-under-ver-album-versions Pagina 1 de 6 Jumpin` Jack Flash, Rockaway Beach, Shot Em Down o Starstruck. El segell discogràfic Silver Lining Music juntament amb Phil Campbell i Mikkey Dee han fet una recopilació d'algunes de les millors versions que Motörhead ha anat gravant o publicant al llarg dels últims 25 anys, des de 1992 fins poc abans que la banda posés el punt final . Aquestes son les versions que inclou aquest Under Cöver i l'any en que es van gravar o editar: 1. Breaking The Law (Judas Priest) 2008 2. God Save The Queen (Sex Pistols) 2000 3. Whiplash (Metallica) 2005 Motörhead va gravar el seu homenatge a la cançó Heroes durant les sessions de gravació del que seria el seu últim àlbum, Bad Magic (2015), el trio mentre passava una bona estona a l'estudi, va gravar una versió d'aquest clàssic del Duc Blanc, que a la fi suposaria una de les últimes gravacions de Lemmy Kilmister abans de la seva mort al desembre d'aquell mateix any. Curiosament, al final van descartar incloure-la a l'àlbum i en el seu lloc va entrar Sympathy For The Devil dels Rolling Stones. Segurament la majoria de ?metaleros? mai haguessin imaginat a Motörhead marcant-se una versió del Heroes de l'icònic David Bowie. Aquesta és la cançó inèdita i la joia de la corona de l'àlbum. Tot i que es nota en la veu que Lemmy no estava al 100%, aquest mite ens deixa una interpretació extremadament emotiva que quedarà per la història. El videoclip que acompanya al tema és un tribut a Lemmy, a la seva actitud dins i fora de l'escenari, a més d'un agraïment a Mikkey Dee i Phil Campbell per haver-lo acompanyat durant dècades a la carretera. Respecte a aquesta versió del Duc Blanc, el guitarra Phil Campbell va comentar: ?És una gran cançó de Bowie, una de les seves millors peces. Només vaig veure que grans coses sortint de nosaltres, i tant és així que Lemmy va acabar estimant la nostra versió. Estàvem contents amb ella en aquell moment i estem igual de contents ara!. El bateria Mikkey Dee hi afegiria, ?Lemmy estava molt, molt orgullós de la versió, no només perquè va acabar sent francament bona, sinó perquè va ser molt divertit fer-ho!. I és que així és com haurien de ser aquests tipus de projectes, divertits. Hem de tenir present que es tracta de passar-ho bé amb les cançons que tothom estima?. En aquest àlbum també hi ha dues picades d'ullet al Punk, gènere del que es va influenciar notablement Lemmy a finals dels 70 per gravar els primers discos de Motörhead. La famosa versió del God Save The Queen dels Sex Pistols, inclosa a We Are Motörhead i l'excel?lent versió Rockaway Beach dels Ramones, una banda molt estimada pel Lemmy. Mikkey Dee, el bateria de Motörhead en una entrevista recent a la revista Revolver Magazine explica cançó per cançó les versions de la banda de Lemmy, Campbell i Dee. Per descomptat, ens agrada Judes Priest, Lemmy solia utilitzar els seus riffs de guitarra (pensava que eren molt heavys), vam fer gires amb ells i són bons amics, així que era una cosa natural dir que sí. Crec que Bob va suggerir tres o quatre cançons, i aquesta va ser una d'elles. Va ser una opció bastant fàcil". God Save The Queen (Sex Pistols) V?deo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qa1wdUkeuvE La versió de Motörhead de la salutació (amb els dos dits en forma de banya característic del Heavy) dels Sex Pistols a la monarquia britànica va aparèixer originalment a l'àlbum We Are Motörhead (2000). ?Un dia estàvem fent una jam amb la cançó i tots vam pensar que era genial, així que vam decidir gravar-la. La majoria d'aquestes versions són fetes així, en realitat, no hi ha gaire planificació al darrere. Va resultar ser una gran versió, així que vam fer un vídeo on tocàvem a sobre d'un autobús de dos pisos que es passejava per Londres, amb una actriu que sembla la reina, i està conduint el bus. "Aquesta cançó va ser l'última que vam gravar junts, sempre havíem parlat de fer un àlbum de covers en el que cadascun de nosaltres escolliria les quatre cançons que ens agradaria gravar, més o menys el que acabem d'editar, però amb 12 versions noves. Quan vam acabar de gravar Bad Magic, ens va començar altra vegada a donar voltes la idea d'aquest projecte. Phil Campbell i Jo, ens vam posar d'acord per fer una broma al Lemmy posant cançons com Living On A Prayer i Run To The Hills a la nostra llista, totes aquelles maleïdes cançons amb tons de veu súper alts, només per tocar-li el collons al Lemmy. Una de les meves eleccions serioses va ser Strange Kind Of Woman de Deep Purple, però Heroes va ser l'elecció de Phil. Lemmy al principi no volia fer-la perquè pensava que no funcionaria, però la vam fer, i va resultar ser la seva cançó preferida de la sessió de gravació de l'àlbum!". Starstruck (Dio) feat. V?deo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_QzU1RHLSk Aquesta versió del tema de Rainbow és l'escollida de l'àlbum Rainbow Rising (1976), va aparèixer a l'àlbum de tribut a Ronnie James Dio, This Is Your Life, amb la col?laboració a la veu del cantant de Saxon, Biff Byford. "Volíem fer la cançó, però crec que Lemmy no tenia el feeling de poder cantar- la com ho va fer Ronnie. Quan estàs fent una versió, no vols copiar l'artista original, el que vols, és d'alguna manera transmetre el seu feeling. Mai sonarem com Rainbow, ja ho sabeu, però sempre sonarem com Motörhead. Biff és un gran amic nostre, així que era gairebé natural que vingués i la cantés amb nosaltres". "No vaig tocar en aquest disc, perquè el van gravar poc abans d'unir-me a la banda. Volien que tornés a gravar totes les cançons del disc, però no hi havia temps. Vaig fer algunes coses a l'àlbum, però mai vaig tenir gaire interès per aquesta cançó si tinc de dir la veritat, perquè personalment no m'agradava gens. M'ho vaig trobar fet. Algunes de les coses de Ted Nugent són màgiques, però mai m'ha agradat aquesta cançó i no m'ha agradat mai la versió que vam fer d'ella". Com que cadascú té els seus gustos, personalment en aquest cas, discrepo del Mikkey Dee, tant l'original de Ted Nugent com el cover de Motörhead em semblen un gran tema.

Every town punk rock dead, and start whining about how bands today are I went to inspired me a little more. just second-rate knock-offs of the bands that I grew up loving. hen, I thought about all these books about punk rock Hell, I should be writing stories about “back in the day” for that have been coming out lately, and about all the jaded Spin by now. But, somehow, the requisite feelings of being TTold guys talking about how things were more vital back jaded are eluding me. In fact, I’m downright optimistic. in the day. But I remember a lot of those days and that “How can this be?” you ask.

    Motörhead Magic for Robe | 1 Pics by Louise Stickland Motörhead, one of the most truly iconic bands in the history of heavy, hard and speed metal, with an illustrious and thunderous career that blasted off in the 1970s and rocked gloriously loudly for the next 40 years until their last live gig in Berlin on 11th December 2015. The band officially ended on 28th December 2015, two and a half weeks after that memorable show in Berlin, and part way through the “Bad Magic” tour with the passing of founder, lead singer and rock ‘n’ roll warrior Lemmy (Ian Fraser Kilmister) aged 70. The “Bad Magic” tour was supporting of their 22nd studio album – for which lighting designer Caio Bertti sculpted a classic rock ’n’ roll look with the contemporary twist of moving lights from Robe. The famous Motörhead bomber set piece also flew again for this European tour – its last as it would turn out – and its first time on a tour for many years. It was completely refurbished and brought bang up-to-date with new lighting including Robe Pointes and LEDWash 600s plus a full automation system making it more agile and maneuverable than ever before Their shows have always been uncompromisingly rock ‘n’ roll, and this one very much mimicked Motörhead Magic for Robe | 2 that oeuvre, however Caio broke new ground in 2013 when asked onboard by previous LD Stefan Sjoland … and became the first to introduce moving lights to the stage with 24 x Robe Pointes on the “Aftershock” tour.

Rekonesans Słowie wstępnym - Wymiary śmierci Stanisław Rosiek w do antologii francuskich tekstów dotyczą cych tanatologii zatytułowanej stwierdza: „Cóż można powiedzieć o śmierci, prócz tego, że jest – i że jest nieuchronna? Niewiele więcej. A jednak mówi się o niej i pisze ciągle od nowa” (Rosiek 2002: 6). Badacz dostrzega dewaluację słów o śmierci, zauważa, że „jako kategoria ogólna – zniknęła, tak samo jak kiedyś- rozpadła się jako persona” (Rosiek 2002: 6). Historyk literatury podkreśla jednak- wartość i potrzebę mówienia o zmarłych, a także o „żywych, którzy się obok umar- łych pojawiają jako uczestnicy zbiorowych rytuałów żałobnych lub jako rozpacza jący wedle prywatnej reguły” (Rosiek 2002: 6). Celem artykułu będzie próba scha rakteryzowania wybranych zjawisk związanych ze śmiercią muzyków metalowych- i wskazania specyficznych osadzonych w kontekście metakultury symultaniczności (Burszta 2007: 37) aspektów ogniskujących się przede wszystkim wokół medial nych reprezentacji o charakterze (tanato)ekshibicjonistycznym. Jeden z najważniejszych francuskich prekursorów studiów tanatologicznych,- socjolog Louis-Vincent Thomas, zauważał poszerzenie zakresu badań dotyczących tanatologii jako szczególnej refleksji o życiu i śmierci, służącej życiu i upamiętnia jącej tych, którzy od nas odeszli (Thomas 2002: 11). Badacz wskazuje wybrane- dziedziny współtworzące tę wiedzę: filozofię i teologię, sztukę (malarstwo, rzeźbę,- architekturę, muzykę, komiks, fotografię, sztukę filmową) i literaturę, nauki biolo giczno-medyczne, nauki humanistyczne i społeczne (lingwistykę i semiologię, histo- rię, antropologię społeczną i kulturową, psychologię, ekonomię śmierci).

Nous avons décidé de consacrer notre dossier à Motörhead, projet musical dont nous admirons la constance affichée pendant quarante ans, et qu’il serait très réducteur d’affubler de la seule étiquette heavy metal. Quant à David Bowie, l’influence qu’il a exercée sur beaucoup d’artistes que nous aimons, parmi lesquels Ian Curtis, le rend forcément incontournable dans un très prochain numéro de BLITZ! I promised myself that today won’t be only a battle for entry on the most viewed concerts, but also an escape from daily life. For good starters I planned to verify the good reputation of The Dead Daisies. Their members are a mix of musicians from bands like Motley Crue, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and even Billy Idol and Dio. Well, my a bit fatigued colleagues managed to get ready shortly before Phill Campbell and The Bastard Sons performance. Scene veteran Phill, with a company of youngsters played a sentimental but good, strong rock-and-roll concert. Campbell was a guitarist in Motorhead since 1984, until the death of Lemmy’s, so “using” his repertoire is a serious commercial move. The heritage of Motorhead will surely catch the attention of their long die-hard fans, but nonetheless it was an honest and true concert. Besides Campbell, his three sons are playing – Todd, Dane and Tyla. The vocalist of the band, Neil Starr, who was clearly under the jitters, still managed to convincingly play hits like “Killed By Death” and “Ace Of Spades”. There were also few surprises.
