Seri Penulisan Sejarah Dalam Persfektif Mahasiswa ] Seri 8 Peran Tokoh untuk Indonesia [ Seri Penulisan Sejarah dalam Persfektif Mahasiswa ] UU No 28 tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta Fungsi dan sifat hak cipta Pasal 4 Hak Cipta sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 3 huruf a merupakan hak eksklusif yang terdiri atas hak moral dan hak ekonomi. Pembatasan Pelindungan Pasal 26 Ketentuan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 23, Pasal 24, dan Pasal 25 tidak berlaku terhadap: i. penggunaan kutipan singkat Ciptaan dan/atau produk Hak Terkait untuk pelaporan peristiwa aktual yang ditujukan hanya untuk keperluan penyediaan informasi aktual; ii. Sanksi Pelanggaran Pasal 113 1. Setiap Orang yang dengan tanpa hak melakukan pelanggaran hak ekonomi sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 9 ayat (1) huruf i untuk Penggunaan Secara Komersial dipidana dengan pidana penjara paling lama 1 (satu) tahun dan/atau pidana denda paling banyak Rp100.000.000 (seratus juta rupiah). 2. Buku merupakan hasil dari kegiatan Praktikum Mata Kuliah. Praktikum sejarah adalah salah satu pengajaran dalam Jurusan SPI UIN Bandung untuk melatih mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan penulisan sejarah. Kami membuat buku ke dalam 9 (Sembilan) Seri dengan berbagai tema mulai dari Sejarah Kota hingga Gerakan Sosial dan Politik Indonesia dengan Judul “Penulisan Sejarah dalam Persfektif Mahasiswa”. Kami yakin, mahasiswa Semester III mampu menuliskan sejarah dengan sudut pandang sendiri, baik sudut pandang keilmuan maupun kemampuan. Persfektif inilah yang perlu diapresiasi sebagai sebuah karya terbaik yang mereka miliki. Perlu disadari bahwa buku ini bukan tanpa kekurang, namun inilah hal yang maksimal yang dicurahkan oleh seluruh pihak yang berperan dalam penulisan buku tersebut. Semoga hadirnya buku ini dapat menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa lain untuk menulis dengan seksama menggunakan langkah-langkah yang telah ditetapkan. Ahmad Dahlan Amira Feizatinnisa, Ajid Thohir Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Email: [email protected] Abstrak Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana kehidupan atau perjalanan hidup seorang tokoh terkemuka yaitu Kyai Ahmad Dahlan, sebagai sosok pembaharu pemikiran dalam bidang agama, pendidikan, dan sosial. Namun dalam hal ini penulis lebih kepada mendeskripsikan bagaimana perjalanan hidup Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan dan peranan nya pada Bidang Pendidikan. Dan metode yang digunakan ialah metode “deskripsi kualitatif”. Melalui metode penelitian ini, maka akan menghasilkan data-data yang akurat. Dan dengan begitu kita bisa mengetahui bagaimana Perjalanan kehidupan yang dilalui oleh setiap orang bukanlah hal mudah dan tentu berbeda-beda jalannya. Melihat dari perjalanan tokoh Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan ini dalam menghidupi keluarganya, ketika ditinggalkan oleh kedua orangtuanya, semangat berdagangnya dan dalam memperjuangkan syiar-syiar Islam menjadi sebuah fakta sejarah melalui gagasan-gagasan nya yang disampaikan lewat jalan dakwah yang awalnya dilakukan di tempat tinggalnya, hingga beliau mendirikan sebuah organisasi Muhammadiyah. Dan peran Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan dalam Bidang Pendidikan hingga beliau bertekad dengan penuh keyakinan untuk mendirikan sekolah-sekolah dapat terwujud. Kata Kunci: Perjalanan Kehidupan dan Peranan dalam Bidang Pendidikan A. Pendahuluan Proses masuknya Islam ke Indonesia, rupanya berbeda dengan upaya masuknya Islam ke berbagai Negara-negara lain. Through a sociolog- ical theory of knowledge Mannheim has found that important teaching presented Hamka in relation to the life of the nation that is their re- sponsibility that must be realized that every citizen. Responsibilities shall include nationality, homeland, all of which according to Hamka in line with the main principles of Islam, namely amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.

Pemikiran nasionalisme Islam Salim dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan sekuler Belanda dan interaksinya dengan tokoh pembaharu lintas Negara seperti Jamaluddin al-Afgani dan karya-karya tokoh pembaharu Negara lainnya ketika ia menjadi penerjemah pada konsulat Belanda di Jeddah tahun 1906. Nasionalisme Islam yang digusung oleh Salim berkeinginan untuk memperjuangkan hak-hak kemerdekaan yang telah dirampas oleh Pemerintah Hindia Belanda berdasarkan asas-asas Islam. Nasionalisme Islam ini berbeda dengan nasionalisme sekuler yang digusung oleh Soekarno dan Hatta, karena memisahkan antara nasionalisme dengan agama. Haji Agus Salim is one of Islamic nationalist leaders who lived in three regimes; the Netherlands, Japan, and early Indonesian independence. Salim’s thought was influenced by the Dutch secular education and his interaction with transnational reformers like Jamaluddin al-Afgani and the works of other reformers when he became a translator at the Dutch consulate in Jeddah in 1906. Islamic Nationalism formulated by Salim wanted to fight the rights of freedom that has been seized by the Dutch government based on Islamic principles. Islamic nationalism was different from secular nationalism formulated by Sukarno and Hatta, when the second separated between nationalism and religion. The settlement was founded in 1775 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I as housing facility for the abdi dalem (palace employees) on religious affairs. The settlement has undergone many changes influenced by politics, power and globalization that eventually brought modernization to the settlement. Starting from 1912, the settlement began to be strongly influenced by Muhammadiyah organization. Even though the Kauman settlement is now an open community and no longer part of the palace bureaucracy, its people still practice the way of life based on Javanese cultural values supported by piety in practicing Islamic rules in daily life from generation to generation. The Kauman settlement today exist authentically as both a Muslim society and part of the Javanese traditional culture. This authenticity is visible in the settlement layout and the buildings within, which reflect a calm and cozy urban village settlement with its own characteristics amidst the business and tourism center of Yogyakarta.

This interpretation arose in modern thought and was born from Indonesian society that the Dutch were colonizing. Therefore, this interpretation represents an idea with a modern background and colonial issues. One of the interesting issues in Al-Azhar's notion is the interpretation of verses related to women. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting interpretations related to women in Tafsir Al-Azhar. This research used Hans-George Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutic method. The study results prove that the context of the colonial era made Hamka choose to reinterpret the verses of the Qur'an related to women's creation. The purpose of the interpretation is to harmonize between religious values and social conditions. According to Hamka, he interpreted the female verse that said women created from Adam’s ribs. Also, he explained controversially that the interpretation of women's creation from Adam’s ribs is merely a metaphor.

    Suaidi Asyari A REAL THREAT FROM WITHIN: Muhammadiyah’s Identity Metamorphosis and the Dilemma of Democracy Suaidi Asyari IAIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin - Jambi Abstract: This paper will look at Muhammadiyah as a constantly metamorphosing organism from which have grown modernist-reformist, liberalist progressive, political pragmatist and potentially violent fundamentalist-radical Muslims. It will argue that the trajectory passed by and the victory of the radical-puritan element in the National Congress 2005 can potentially become an obstacle for Muhammadiyah's involvement in the process of implementing democratic values in Indonesia in the future. To keep watching Muhammadiyah’s trajectory is crucially important due to the fact that this organization is one of the powerful forces in the world toward the democratization process. In order to be on the right track of democracy, Muhammadiyah has to be able to cope with its internal disputes over democratic values. Only by means of coping with these internal disputes can this organization ensure its role in propagating and disseminating democratic ideas as well as practices in Indonesia. His work in the academic world and his struggle and educating the people is well known and made an impression. Elson* On the morning of August 18, 1945, three days after the Japanese surrender and just a day after Indonesia's proclamation of independence, Mohammad Hatta, soon to be elected as vice-president of the infant republic, prevailed upon delegates at the first meeting of the Panitia Persiapan Kemerdekaan Indonesia (PPKI, Committee for the Preparation of Indonesian Independence) to adjust key aspects of the republic's draft constitution, notably its preamble. The changes enjoined by Hatta on members of the Preparation Committee, charged with finalizing and promulgating the constitution, were made quickly and with little dispute. Their effect, however, particularly the removal of seven words stipulating that all Muslims should observe Islamic law, was significantly to reduce the proposed formal role of Islam in Indonesian political and social life.
