Page 11 Overview This schedule is part of a regular monitoring exercise undertaken annually by the County Council’s Planning Policy Team. Information is based on the monitoring of sites allocated for employment in the emerging draft Local Plan. The Employment Site Schedule (ESS) 2017-18 records the status of all employment units and land on allocated employment sites as of 31st March 2018. The 2017-18 ESS differs from previous versions in that it incorporates new Local Plan allocations, some of which are not immediately available. It also includes analysis and a take-up report analysing take-up since 1999. The ESS records all developed and undeveloped land within Northumberland's allocated employment sites. The data has been collated via on-site surveys and communication with agents and Advance Northumberland Aims The purpose of this report is to present information on the quantum and location of employment-related uses across the county covering all defined employment areas, which are being taken forward as allocations in the new Local Plan. In particular it shows the level and distribution of available employment land, which forms part of these sites. The information in the report is ‘raw data’, offering a snapshot of the current situation (as of March 31st 2018) regarding the employment sites.
