Entering her 15th season at the helm of the San Jacinto College softball were named to the Region XIV all-conference first team, and two team, Hall of Fame Head Coach Kelly Saenz has built and maintained earned all-Region XIV first team honors. Kelsey Carie Walters Mueller Assistant Coach Athletic Trainer

Former San Jacinto College standout pitcher Kelsey Walters Carie Mueller starts her sixth season as athletic trainer at San (McClain) returns to the San Jac dugout for her sixth year as an Jacinto College. Previously she spent three years as an assistant assistant coach. athletic trainer at the University of North Texas where she worked with the women’s team and assisted with football. During her two years as a player at San Jacinto College, Walters re-wrote the San Jac softball record books. Walters holds a master’s degree in kinesiology, coaching from Mueller stayed in Lubbock, serving as the head athletic Texas Woman’s University. Walters and her husband were married trainer for the Lubbock Renegades of the af2 for two years in the summer of 2014. They welcomed a daughter in 2015. before moving to Oklahoma City. While in Oklahoma City, she was employed by Select Physical Therapy and worked primarily with the OKC Yard Dawgz (af2/AFL) for two years.

Mueller is a nationally Certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed in the state of Texas. She also has a certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist.

ABOUT SAN JACINTO COLLEGE ATHLETICS With 12 national championships in its more than 50-year storied athletic history, San Jacinto College has a long and rich tradition of athletic success, both on the court and field, and in the classroom. This excellence has brought with it national and international exposure to the College and local community. Like many community college and four-year athletic programs, San Jacinto College also has a history of producing professional and Olympic athletes.

Divided among the four campuses, San Jacinto College, or San Jac as it has come to be known when referencing its athletics programs, has a variety of athletic opportunities for both male and female student-athletes. San Jac competes in six National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I teams: men’s basketball, soccer and ; and women’s basketball, softball and volleyball.

San Jac has won national titles in men’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, and track and field, as well as individual titles in . Along the way, San Jacinto College has produced numerous All-Americans and Academic All-Americans, solidifying the success of San Jac student- athletes on the court and field and in the classroom.
