The first of the handbook briefly describes Its development, crrangement, and suggested use. The second chapter provides CI1 introduction to the field of acoustics. Numerous examples are provided to clcrify the concepts which cre developed. The remaining three chapters of the handbook describe the existing railroad noise regulations themseIves. For each regulated noise source, the following items cre provided: a summary of the pertinent regulation; a description of the acoustic metric; a description of the required measurement site conditions; a listing of the necessary instrumentation; a description cf measurement procedures; a summary of the existing data base describing noise from the source; and suggestions on possible techniques of controlling noise emission from the IOUI'ce. Where appropriate, sample worksheets and data sheets are provided. Its intent is to gather together in one document the necessary boc:kground material, the required measurement and analysis procedures, and the currently available abatement techniques to respond to and meet federal regulations governing noise emissions from railroad noise sources. Mr. Robert Mason served as the Transportation System Center's technical monitor for much of the program. Mr. John Koper of the Office of Research and Development of the Federal Railroad Administration was technical monitor for the latter part of the program. Bothrnode important contributions to the handbook through their guidance and careful reviews. Mr. Peter Conlon, Manager of the Environmental and Special Studies Division of the Association of Americon Railroads, also played on important role in the development of this handbook. While real driving emissions of buses decrease with fleet turnaround and have been assessed by many studies, there are virtually no realistic emissions data on diesel rail vehicles, many of which are decades old. The engines were fitted with low-power portable online monitoring instruments, including a portable Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) spectrometer, online particle measurement, and in two cases with proportional particle sampling systems, all installed in engine compartments. Due to space constraints and overhead electric traction lines, exhaust flow was computed from engine operating data. Real-world operation was characterized by relatively fast power level transitions during accelerations and interleaved periods of high load and idle, and varied considerably among service type and routes.

V Olomouci dne Podpis Anotace Práce se zabývá hudebním žánrem k-pop, historií jeho vzniku, umělci, jejich rozvojem, a celkovým vlivem žánru na společnost. Snaží se přiblížit tento styl, který obsahuje řadu hudebních, tanečních a kulturních směrů, široké veřejnosti. Mimo samotnou podobu a historii k-popu se práce věnuje i temným stránkám tohoto fenoménu. V závislosti na dostupnosti literárních a internetových zdrojů zpracovává historii žánru od jeho vzniku až do roku 2020, spolu s tvorbou a úspěchy jihokorejských umělců. Součástí práce je i zpracování dvou dotazníků. Jeden zpracovává názor české veřejnosti na k-pop, druhý byl mířený na českou k-pop komunitu a její myšlenky ohledně tohoto žánru. Abstract This master´s thesis is describing music genre k-pop, its history, artists and their own evolution, and impact of the genre on society. It is also trying to introduce this genre, full of diverse music, dance and culture movements, to the public.

This review highlights progress in sound transmission properties of bio-based materials and provides a comprehensive account of various multiporous bio-based materials and multilayered structures used in sound absorption and insulation products. Furthermore, principal models of sound transmission are discussed in order to aid in an understanding of sound transmission properties of bio-based materials. In addition, the review presents discussions on the composite structure optimization and future research in using co-extruded wood plastic composite for sound insulation control. This review contributes to the body of knowledge on the sound transmission properties of bio-based materials, provides a better understanding of the models of some multiporous bio-based materials and multilayered structures, and contributes to the wider adoption of bio-based materials as sound absorbers.
