Hyderabadi Mirchi Ka Salan Recipe Ingredients for Hyderabadi Mirchi Ka Salan Recipe 2 Tbsp Peanuts 2 Tbsp Desiccated Coconut 2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds 1 Tsp Cumin 2 Tsp Coriander Seeds 4 Dried Round Red Chillies 1 Tsp Oil 1 Onion 250 gms Chillies 3-4 Tbsp Oil 1 Tsp Mustard Seeds 1/2 Tsp Cumin 10-12 Curry Leaves 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder Puree Of 1 Tomato 1/2 Cup Water 1 & ½ Tsp Salt 1 Cup Water 2 Tbsp Tamarind Pulp Steps for Hyderabadi Mirchi Ka Salan Recipe 1. Heat a pan, add Peanuts and roast it for 2- 3 minutes. Add Desiccated Coconut, Sesame Seeds, Cumin, Coriander Seeds and Dried Round Red Chillies. Roast everything for a minute on low flame. Remove in a bowl to cool down. 2. Heat oil in a same pan, add Sliced Onion and sauté until translucent. After a minutes add the onion in roasted ingredients. 3. Blend all the above ingredients in a fine paste by adding ½ cup of Water. 4. Take 250gms Chillies and slit it from the centre. Heat 4 Tbsp oil in a pan, fry all the Chillies on high flame for 4-5 minutes. Remove the Chillies in a plate. 5. In the same Oil, add Mustard Seeds, Cumin, Curry Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste, Red Chilli Powder and Turmeric Powder. Roast all the Masalas for a minute on low flame. 6. Add Tomato puree and roast it for 4-5 minutes. Now add blended paste, ½ cup Water and Salt. Roast everything for 10-15 minutes on low flame. 7. Add 1 cup Water and Tamarind Pulp. Let it boil on high flame. Add fried Chillies and let it cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. 8. Spicy and Tangy Hyderabadi Mirchi ka Salan is ready to serve with Rice.
