WHY STUDY ABOUT HEAVEN? At the beginning of our first Heaven 101 class, we asked the class, “Who can remember having one hour of teaching on ‘What will Heaven be like?’” No one indicated that they could remember having at least one of H e a v e n 1 0 1 P a g e | 6 teaching on what heaven would be like! The material that you will be exposed to in these notes, both can and will, change your life now and forever! There are 4 questions that we all ask ourselves: 1. Who am I, really? 2. Where did I come from? 3. Why am I here? 4. Where am I going? Death is in front of all of us. By answering question 4, where we are going when we die, we will cover the answers to questions 1-3. Our lives are tragically brief with an ultimate destiny…where will we spend it? What will it be like? These Class notes will dispel Hollywood misconceptions and give you a vibrant and accurate image of how and where believers will spend eternity. You

ARTHUR PEARSON LTD. 16-18 HENRIETTA STREET, W.C.2 Made in Great Britain ~ 1938 Printed in Great Britain by Billing and Sons Ltd., Guildford and Esher Page 1 More Stunts And Ideas Downloaded from: “The Dump” at Scoutscan.com http://www.thedump.scoutscan.com/ Thanks to Dennis Trimble for providing this book. Editor’s Note: The reader is reminded that these texts have been written a long time ago. Consequently, they may use some terms or express sentiments which were current at the time, regardless of what we may think of them at the beginning of the 21st century. For reasons of historical accuracy they have been preserved in their original form. If you find them offensive, we ask you to please delete this file from your system. This and other traditional Scouting texts may be downloaded from The Dump. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED –– PROLOGUE YOU can see how highbrow I am by the fact that I call this the Prologue. Now that you have read the last page to “see how it ends” we can begin at the beginning. I can find no legitimate reason why this book should ever have appeared to disgrace self- respecting bookshelves – beyond the fact that it is your own blooming fault. You see, so many people bought the first book of stunts and ideas by Jack Blunt, that the publishers, in their awful wisdom, decided that I am a genius, and that I must write another book of ideas and stunts, so that all the people who bought the first one can buy another one! Which is known as Big Business! Add to that the fact that no one seemed to grumble about my first book, that seeing myself in print delights me no end, and that with the appearance of each new book the Troop begins to imagine I can’t be such a fool after all (!), and you have the reason why you are now holding the second book of stunts and ideas.

There are Literally hundreds upon hundreds of great titles. If you would like to order from this newsletter you can email, phone or post an order. If phoning please feel free to call after hours From 8.00am up until 7.00pm is fine. I have a couple of pieces of bad news. Firstly my dear mum, Rose Reid, passed away on February 23rd. Many knew her as she worked Wednesdays at the old Parramatta store from 1990-2000 and filled in when I went on buying trips. It has been a trying period but I can honestly say she loved her time in the shop especially meeting and talking to many fine people and was a keen music buff, something that has passed on through the genes. Secondly, we lost a dear friend in Norm Pyne. Many who went to the Parramatta store would have seen a blind guy getting round with only a cane. My admiration for Norm was limitless. I never considered him handicapped in any way and he was always thankful for his independence. It is a sad irony of life that it is probably this independence which saw him involved in an horrific accident which cost him his life.

ABSTRACT ALL OUR FATHERS By Nicholas D. Hoffman All Our Fathers is a collection of eight pieces of creative nonfiction and seven fictional stories. Though separated by genre, the collection has larger themes running throughout: nature as a catalyst for discovery, spiritual and moral upheaval, matters of the body, and the relationship between sons and fathers. Each piece features characters or narrators who struggle with doubt as they attempt to navigate a world filled with moral and spiritual uncertainty, reconcile some peace with death, and plot a course through the disorder of losing, and sometimes regaining, their families.
