WARNING: THE INSIGHT AND AWARENESS THIS TRAINING OFFERS IS GUARANTEED TO BLOW YOUR MIND AND FREE YOUR SPIRIT!

In this workshop, actor and stage director John Osborne Hughes presents a technique to help free the artist’s spirit, to go beyond our mind and emotions by transcending the confining thoughts and egotistic attachments that keep us from connecting with our “True Self”.

During the workshop we learn how to develop awareness (ability to observe our own thinking), in order to dissolve creative blocks. We will learn what a character is, what acting is (and isn’t!), the qualities of a great actor... and much more. The core of the sys- tem is that if we can understand our own psychological process, which created our own character, we can harness this knowledge, learn to engage it at will and allow it to serve as our creative technique,

With this approach we learn that the real purpose of art of any kind is to open the heart and raise our own and society’s level of consciousness and understanding. Simple, practical exercises will be introduced to each student to assimilate the technique.

Former students have starred in: Major Motion Pictures, Network Prime -Time Televi- sion, Broadway, London’s West End, Royal National Theatre, Independent Films, and Scores of Commercials.
