Relatively speaking Quorn is well served by public transport. The village has 5 routes with the majority connecting Loughborough with Leicester and all passing through the village centre.
As Loughborough and Leicester are the two main commuting centres for Quorn residents only the X26 doesn’t serve both centres. All five routes go to Loughborough.

In addition to the bus services in the village there is a Park & Ride service in Birstall, at the junction of the A6 and A46. This is a car journey of around 10/15 minutes.
It operates from 07.00 and then every 15 minutes with the last bus leaving Leicester at 17.00. The journey, which takes on average 15 minutes, has one stop en-route to Leicester on Abbey Lane and 3 stops in the city centre. It operates Monday to Saturday with parking free but a charge for drivers and passengers.
Train Services from Barrow on Soar station
The first train to Leicester leaves Barrow on Soar at 06.02 and takes 18 minutes. The service runs approximately every hour with the last train leaving at 22.29.
Trains run from Leicester to Barrow on Soar starting at 06.26 and they run approximately every hour until 21.26. The journey takes 17 minutes.
Trains to Nottingham via Loughborough (5 minutes) leave at 06.43 and have a direct service with the last train leaving at 21.43. The journey times averages 32 minutes. There are also other services that include a change of train.
Trains from Nottingham start at 05.38, 07.30 and 08.36 then every hour until 22.01 and take an average 28 minutes.
