Sep—Dec 2019 Welcome

Simon Cane UCL After Dark Executive Director UCL Culture As the nights start drawing in this autumn, we’re turning our eyes to the night sky and thinking about space and all things lunar.

This year celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landings and that giant leap that captured the world’s imagination in 1969. In October we’re working with artists and researchers to explore the ways humans and animals are influenced by the moon, as part of Festival and UCL’s own It’s All Academic Festival.

This autumn also sees the launch of our brand new Lates programme. We hope you’ll join us after hours for a series of intriguing, surprising and joyful events that use the university Opposite: and our unmissable museums and Image © Matt collections as their backdrop.
