Ray of Light Theatre to Perform The Rocky Horror Show to Celebrate ROLT’s Fifteenth Anniversary and Rocky’s Fortieth Anniversary
Show Runs October 28 November 7 at San Francisco’s Historic Victoria Theatre
San Francisco, Calif. — October 15, 2015 — Ray of Light Theatre, San Francisco’s nonprofit musical theatre company, will bring back one of their favorite productions, The Rocky Horror Show, this Halloween.
The Rocky Horror Show runs October 28th through November 7th at the historic Victoria Theatre and boasts a cast of the Bay Area’s best performers and vocalists including D’Arcy Drollinger as FranknFurter.
With music, lyrics, and book by Richard O’Brien, The Rocky Horror Show is a humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror movies from the late 1940s through the early 1970s. A cult classic, Rocky is the story of a newly engaged couple who are caught in an unexpected storm and end up in the home of a mad transvestite scientist who unveils his new creation, a muscle man named Rocky Horror.
“Performing Rocky Horror on Halloween is the ideal way to close out our 2015 season. We have always held a soft...er...hard...spot in our hearts for Rocky, and we can’t wait to bring it back for one more outrageous, sexdriven, scifi musical fantasy,” Jason Hoover, Director
