Minister Incharge of the Cabinet Division: (a) Possession of Sector I-11/2 remained with the affectees of Mouza Sorain, inspite of the earlier award dated 06-06-1975. Since the possession could not be retrieved and use of force was not an option. A package deal was negotiated with them and an award was announced on 08-06-2009. 85% possession was retrieved when some of affectees agitated against the award. The matter is pending in the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan and NAB Rawalpindi. Remaining 15% possession will be retrieved after finalization of NAB Inquiry and after the decision of the case by the Apex Court. (b) As above.
