Confirm MoM Bologna, November 2018 Confirmed 2. UN Research grant Call 2018 selection (applications from 15 universities) Change text website and application form (3 > 2 months)* ii-agreement not necessary for traineeships Mail to Thessaloniki/Istanbul/Bratislava on Erasmus+ eligibility (> 3months period) Helsinki to Belfast is 2,5 months and in the application we only ask for explanation if period is longer than 3 months* SC/Joint meeting still needs to decide on the 11th grant (left over from last year) maybe 15 grants, since UN did underspend in 17-18 (update Gérald)-> 15 grants approved by SC at Joint meeting. Check (9) un(der)-represented member institutions and if necessary adjust promotional approach 5 members still have not submitted/nominated, Rita will send mail asking why and offer promotional assistance/visit: Belfast/Bergen/Bologna/Lund/Malta. revise YRG report questions to get useful quotes Wait until after the questions to the 5 have been sent, only if they specifically ask for promotional material. 3. Statistics 2016-2017 almost complete; data Budapest still missing - Marleen overview will be sent to SC before Joint meeting 4. Promotion ‘tour’; on hold until AGM Bratislava > also communicate the promotional visit option through Newsletter/googlegroup- comment from joint SC & TF meeting 5. UN website TF pages - update TF members & picture (?) Overview of collected material to be shared on UN intranet (see 7 and 8) 6. Follow-up Bologna meeting: Survey good practices ICM plus related actions - no action taken yet (see to-do-list in minutes Bologna meeting) ICM will be on the AGM agenda in Bratislava (Erasmus+ session > with EC and NA, desired topics: Strategic partnerships, ICM/KA107, European University Networks (pilot) - comment from joint SC & TF meeting FORCES is the aim for the coming years: Foster internationalisation of education, Open up new forms of cooperation, Respond actively to European Higher Education policies, Collaborate effectively within the Network, Enhance internationalisation processes in member universities, Strengthen the profile and the outlook of the Network. MVE- 23October2018-page 1 of 2 3.i - SM_Minutes_Vilnius_2018_03 ICM/KA107 will be topic at the AGM > if a member institution applies for a project with a REARI-RJ (or AEN/MAUI) partner, the application could be ‘copied’ by other UN members, to make it a shared project (but separate application, as long as applying as consortium is not possible) - comment from joint SC & TF meeting. 7. Follow-up Bologna meeting: Survey Intercultural preparation - update Anika See analysis Anika; no follow-up at the moment. Anika will try to get permission to go see the next session of the workshop in Ljubljana. Unfortunately they stated in the survey that they didn’t want to share material/information. Check how to upload material on the intranet pages. If no teaching material, it will be Anika’s summary of the results of the survey. 8. Follow-up Bologna meeting: Collect information on UN member institutions with a degree programme in Portuguese language, for targeted promotional approach - update Ana Isabel (or no update yet?) 9 universities offer a degree or minor in Portuguese language. Ana will approach the departmental coordinators to explain the Utrecht Network and the REARI-RJ exchange programme. For the coming year 18-19 sofar 8 outgoing students applied and from Brazil 5 for the Autumn semester only. Ana will receive nominations for Spring mid July. New topics 9. Left over from last meeting, AGM request: “Student mobility TF could promote the willingness of AEN / MAUI / REARI-RJ to participate in E+ KA107. We could focus on staff mobility due to programme instrument.” check with SC/Joint meeting if this is still a current request, or to be continued later (new Erasmus+ programme) if yes, write common introduction about KA 107 programme and guidelines, is needed for overseas networks 10. Topic for AGM 2019 workshop: Blended mobility, based on project Riga is involved in (led by European University Foundation). Probably/hopefully mainly staff mobility (TF IoC will not be ready for blended student mobility within one year, if at all) Work plan 2018 11. Work plan 2018 - to be confirmed, anything missing/to be added? > Adjust according to Joint meeting comments (done – Marleen) 12. Destination and date meeting Autumn 2018 tbd at AGM or Coimbra; Spring meeting 2018? connected to SC meeting/location again? > Location not decided yet 13. Determine to-do-list with deadlines > No actions at this moment, except for the TF presentations at the AGM 14. Any new (initiative) ideas? Deadline next call is > 1 April 2018. Any other business Make sure to submit travel claims to Fiona before the end of March!
