How to use your Kōins in 4 easy steps:

1 Remove your Kōins from the biodegradable bag and boil in water for 10 minutes. Remove and cool.

2 Fill your Gō-Ecō Glass Water Bottle with tap water (up to 1L) and drop in the Kōins. They will start filtering immediately, although for best results leave for 3+ hours. Lightly rinse your bottle and top up daily.

3 After one month of on-the-go filtered water, boil your Kōins for 10 minutes. Allow to cool, and then simply reuse every day.

4 After two months of daily use*, boil your Kōins again, allow to cool and reuse as before. Once filtered, if your water still tastes clean and fresh, reuse. If not, simply recycle your KURO-Bō Kōins in a number of eco- friendly ways and start the easy process over again with new Kōins.

* The lifetime of KURO-Bō Activated Charcoal Kōins depends on the water quality and daily volumes of water being purified. For greater volumes of water, simply add additional Kōins.
