Stablished in 2007 as an important part of the Iranian Cinema industry. The purpose of the company is to provide a strong platform for the Iranian productions to have access to the international market. A main part of company’s focus is sales and distribution of film productions include features and TV/Web series. The company is also heavily involved in productions and international co-productions of various projects. Over nearly a decade we have collaborated closely with the International distributors from around the world and we have actively participated in most prominent International Film Festivals and Markets such as Cannes (Marche Du Film), MIPCOM, MIP JUNIOR, Berlinale and Venice. HONAR AVAL is currently producing and providing contents for the market of Entertainment, releasing titles in multiple media such as Theatre, Home Video, Digital Market, VOD/OTT platforms and TV Channels. We are proud that over the years we have been able to provide more than 2,000 titles for the general public, including special contents for children and young adults. Achieving the position of the country's top Home Video Company in 2015 and the country's top National Broadcasting Company in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 which has been a testimony to the trust and love of our audience. Pouran Derakhshandeh graduated in film directing in 1975 from Advanced School of Television and Cinema in Tehran. She started her professional career by making documentary films for the Kermanshah Television and subsequently for the Tehran Television. At the time she began working at NIRT and Produced “Plague,” a documentary about plague disease in Kurdistan Province. Tehran's air pollution has reached maximum levels because of thermal inversion (when warm air settles over cool air, preventing pollutants escaping) making it hard to breath.
