RAPPORT D’ACTIVITE | 2014 1. Introduction et chiffres clés d’Ecofolio en 2014 Le 8e exercice social d’Ecofolio atteste d’un changement de modèle. Le déchet est devenu une ressource pour tous. La mission de l’éco-organisme est bien de récolter ces mines urbaines que constituent les contenants de collecte sélective pour faire des vieux papiers la matière première compétitive des industries de demain. La dynamique n’est plus la même : auparavant le déchet coûtait, polluait et ne trouvait pas de débouchés. Nos vieux papiers sont désormais des ressources alternatives au bois qui se raréfie, et des vecteurs de croissance et d’emplois pour demain. L’économie circulaire est la seule réponse à la raréfaction des ressources et à la nécessaire sobriété carbone de nos économies. Elle est une promesse de croissance nouvelle et pérenne qui réconcilie l’amélioration écologique et la création de valeur. Ecofolio doit agir avec toutes les parties prenantes pour amorcer ce cercle vertueux de la croissance verte et transformer l’éco-contribution acquittée par les metteurs sur le marché en investissement pour des usines, des emplois et de la qualité écologique. L’année 2014 a permis à Ecofolio de déployer pleinement les actions prévues à son 2e agrément : davantage de soutiens pour soutenir majoritairement le recyclage, mais aussi de nouveaux financements pour accompagner la rationalisation de la collecte et du tri des vieux papiers (dispositif d’accompagnement au changement), des actions renforcées en matière de communication/information et sensibilisation toujours conduites comme des campagnes de cause et non de marque. Et toujours des actions majeures en termes de R&D et d’études pour améliorer la recyclabilité des produits en papier et les performances de la collecte et du tri. -

Adriana Nelli ABSTRACT Triestine migration to Australia is the direct consequence of numerous disputations over the city's political boundaries in the immediate post- World War II period. As such the triestini themselves are not simply part of an overall migratory movement of Italians who took advantage of Australia's post-war immigration program, but their migration is also the reflection of an important period in the history of what today is known as the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.. 1954 marked the beginning of a brief but intense migratory flow from the city of Trieste towards Australia. Following a prolonged period of Anglo-American administration, the city had been returned to Italian jurisdiction once more; and with the dismantling of the Allied caretaker government and the subsequent economic integration of Trieste into the Italian State, a climate of uncertainty and precariousness had left the Triestines psychologically disenchanted and discouraged. -

The Club was formed in 1956, the first of its kind in Australia, with the object of Preserving, Restoring and using Veteran, Vintage and Post Vintage Motorcycles. Membership is open to all and owning a suitable machine is not a pre-requisite. Machines manufactured prior to January 1st 1966 are eligible for Club Events. The Club has a strong family orientation and features many social activities as well as Runs and technical help. The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Payneham R&SL Club, 360 Payneham Road, Payneham commencing at 8.00 p.m. Annual Fees are due by the 30th June each year. A joining fee of $15.00 is applicable to new members. The Annual Subscription is $35.00 to all members city and country. Household names, often with preserved archives, have had their company stories written by academics, journalists, and former senior employees. Broader national studies have analysed the role that big business has played in a country’s economic development. While sometimes this work has alleged oppressive anti-competitive behaviour, much has been written from a more positive perspective. Business historians, influenced by the pioneering work of Alfred Chandler, have implicated the ‘visible hand’ of large scale enterprise in national economic development particularly through their competitive strategies and modernised governance structures, which have facilitated innovation, the integration of national markets, and the growth of professional bureaucracies. While our understanding of the role of big business has been enriched by an aggregation of case studies, some writers have sought to study its impact through economy-wide lenses. This has typically involved constructing sets of the largest 100 or 200 companies at periodic benchmark years through the twentieth century, and then analysing their characteristics – such as their size, industrial location, growth strategies, and market share - and how they changed over time. -
