FSU won the national championship in 1999. Academic all American he played six years of professional baseball before enrolling at the age of 26 at FSU. He played 2 years in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers. -Fran Curci: An all American and an academic all American quarterback at the U of Miami. In 1970 was small college coach of the year at the U of Tampa. He was twice S.E.C. coach of the year at Kentucky plus quarterbacking what are now the Kansas City Chiefs in the pros.
