One of a Kind Signed Football This is a highly specialized and unique football that is signed by multiple professional NFL and other league players, including a Heisman trophy winner. Also included are many university coaches. Please see below: -Henry Laurence: Played at Florida A&M. Henry arrived at Manatee High on the first day of integration. His senior year he played less than nine quarters because his coach was prejudiced against people of color even though he helped bring the team to all state for the first time. He was a first round draft choice, played 13 years with the Oakland Raiders and was twice a probowler. -Raymond Bellamy: U of Miami. ESPN writer, Bruce Feldman said that the signing of Ray which broke the color line in the SE United States changed the course of history. Chuck Foreman said if Bellamy had not been almost killed in an auto accident, he would have exceeded Michael Irvin in productivity. -Chris Weinke: A Heisman trophy winner at FSU. FSU won the national championship in 1999. Academic all American he played six years of professional baseball before enrolling at the age of 26 at FSU. He played 2 years in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers. -Fran Curci: An all American and an academic all American quarterback at the U of Miami. In 1970 was small college coach of the year at the U of Tampa. He was twice S.E.C. coach of the year at Kentucky plus quarterbacking what are now the Kansas City Chiefs in the pros. -Willie Lee Jones: U of Tampa drafted by Miami Dolphins, however they would not play enough so played for the world and Canadian football leagues. -Tony Stephens: U of Florida wide receiver, Denver Bronco, Tampa Bay Bandits. -Coach Eddie Shannon: Florida A&M Hall of Fame, Florida high school athletic hall of fame, first school of color listed in the Miami Herald's football poll. -Robert "Pie" Goff: Auburn DL, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings. His nickname came from his older brother because of his enormous appetite. -Tom Murray: QB &TB U of M. All city, all conference & all state at Hillsborough High Tampa. A member of hall of fame at both HHS & Tampa Catholic, both of which he coached. -Reggie Bellamy: Bethune Cookman. Basketball coach at State College of Florida and Palmetto High. He won the USSSA TOC Boys’ Basketball Division II under 17 national championship. -Al Golden: Penn State tight end -- New England Patriots. Coached Linebackers at Boston College and Penn State. Head Coach Temple University 2006 – 2010. He turned the program around playing the first bowl game in 30 years and the 3rd in 111 years. Coming to the University of Miami unaware of possible NCAAA sanctions, he has skillfully negotiated a road full of land mines and restored Miami to national prominence. -Bobby Bowden: First served as assistant football coach at what is now Samford University; then became head football, baseball and basketball coach at South Georgia College before returning to Samford as head coach. Then became assistant coach at FSU. Left FSU to go to West Virginia, returning to FSU as head coach in 1976. During his 34 years as Florida State’s head coach he had only one losing season. From 1987 to 2000 the Seminoles finished every season with at least 10 wins and in the top 5 of the Associated Press College Football Poll, and won the national championship in 1993 and 1999. -Joe Kinnan: His background in coaching include stops at FSU, Arkansas, Southern Illinois and, as offensive coordinator at Eastern Kentucky where the Colonels were 1AA champions in 1979 and runners up in 1980. A bout with cancer in 2000 took him out of coaching, but he returned in 2005. He won state championships at Manatee High in 1983, 1985, 1989, 1992 and 2011, and was state runner-up in 1993 and 2009. The Florida High School Athletic Association designated Joe as one of 12 Florida high school coaches of the century. -Stuart Gregory: Basketball FSU, where Stu played low post at the time FSU became a Division I basketball school. Set 11 Western Kentucky records before his jersey was retired in 1999. Now has the responsibility of pulling University of South Florida out of the football doldrums. .
