8 9 New portable changing rooms for grassroots clubs BACK F.R.C. – | DID YOU FOLLOW THE JOURNEY?

At the start of July, the SFP’s portable changing rooms travelled 271 miles from Edinburgh to Back F.R.C. who are based in Upper Coll on the Isle of Lewis. These new facilities are geared to support the club’s current playing membership of just over 209 players and other local members of the Island’s community who use the club’s state-of-the-art indoor 3G pitch. This facility is key to the continued development of football on the island, particularly in the winter months when it is the norm for there to be over 1,000 individual player visits. We hope our investment of around £40,000 will continue to assist the development of growth at Back F.R.C. and the game of football at grassroots level on the Isle of Lewis.
