SABI SABI SAFARI EXTENSION Specially prepared for January 11 – 14, 2016

DAILY ITINERARY

Sabi Sabi Private sits in the heart of the Sabi Sand, one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife locales. This private 150,000-acre reserve shares a border with and is named for the two rivers that flow through it. Renowned for its excellent “Big Five” viewing—the , rhino, Cape buffalo, and abundant , which were once favorite hunting targets—Sabi Sand has led the way in bringing them back.

DAYS 1–3: JANUARY 11–13, SABI SAND RESERVE Transfer to the Federal Air terminal at Johannesburg Airport this morning for your shared charter flight to Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in the heart of the Sabi Sand (approximately 1.5-hour flight). You will be met upon arrival for a game drive transfer into camp.

Nestled beneath shady trees along the banks of the Msuthlu River is Little Bush Camp, the youngest of the Sabi Sabi collection of 5-star safari lodges. This exceptional camp exudes the same warmth and effortless hospitality that characterizes its sister property, Bush Lodge, providing unparalleled intimacy, seclusion and luxury accommodations for a small number of discerning travelers. Each of the six thatched, air-conditioned suites has its own private viewing deck and heated spa bath overlooking the river. Contemporary African art, designer beds, natural woods and splashes of rich color and texture set the interior scene. En suite bathrooms have egg-shaped tubs, indoor and outdoor showers, with views of the bush beyond. Elegant dinners are often served under the stars in the open-air boma, with the sounds of the African night close at hand. For the ultimate in an exclusive getaway, few places hold a candle to Little Bush Camp.

Because there are no fences between the private Sabi Sabi Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, great concentrations of wildlife move freely through this unspoiled sector of African wilderness. The diverse habitat is home to an impressive range of species including the Big Five -- lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant -- as well as cheetah, wild dog and some 200 other animals indigenous to the area. With more than 300 bird species, the reserve is also a birdwatcher’s delight. Since there has been no hunting here for over half a century, the animals have become habituated to safari vehicles and are relaxed in our presence, allowing for exhilarating close-up photography. Safaris take place each morning and evening in open Land Rovers, which travel through a wide variety of habitats to maximize wildlife encounters. After breakfast, guests can venture out with a camp ranger on the reserve’s walking trails to experience the natural environment on foot.

Overnights Sabi Sabi Little Bush DAY 4: JANUARY 14, DEPARTURE After a morning activity and breakfast today you will be transferred to the private Sabi Sabi Airstrip once again for your departing Federal Air shared charter flight to Johannesburg (approximately 1.5-hour flight).

Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional, life-enhancing adventure. In order to achieve that goal, our guides are empowered to make reasonable changes to itineraries while a trip is underway. These decisions might be made to more closely follow the movements of wildlife, to accommodate extreme weather, to take advantage of unexpected opportunities, or generally to improve overall guest experience. For this reason, the above itinerary should be considered a general outline of your trip, but it is subject to change. After all, the very definition of adventure is “an exciting or remarkable undertaking involving the unknown.” ADVENTURE INFORMATION
