The Department of Defense Laser Systems Safety Working Group (DoD LSSWG) developed this handbook. The working group, chartered by the Department of Defense, has representatives from the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps and the United States Coast Guard. 2. This document supplements departmental manuals, directives, military standards, and other related documents, to assist in standardization of basic information on laser range safety. 3.
