We are so excited to welcome you to the first ever online edition of AmericanaFest UK. We have built a special digital festival website for you to enjoy for the duration of the event AND for two weeks afterwards so you can check back in and watch anything you might have missed!
You can use your login details to come back to the festival to watch performances on demand for up to two weeks after the event has finished. Access to performances will finish at midnight on the 11th February 2021.
How to join the event
1. Copy your DICE access code received by SMS or email and follow the link to americanafestuk.com/virtual-wristband 2. Sign up for an AmericanaFest UK account by filling in your details (same email used for your ticket!) and clicking submit 3. You will then be asked to enter your access code - paste it here 4. You're in! If you need to buy your ticket, please click the buy tickets button and follow instructions to pay and access the site. If you didn't receive your access code from DICE please get in touch with their customer service team who will be happy to help out. If you're having other issues logging in please email [email protected] We recommend you go through the Sign Up / Log In process on the AmericanaFest UK microsite as soon as possible in order to collect your virtual wristband for the event. Once you do this you will be able to explore the site and view the schedule in advance, as well as information/links for the artists performing at the festival. This should help you to plan your schedule and avoid missing out on artists you'd like to watch! We request that you collect your virtual wristband no later than Sunday 24th January.
Using a HDMI cable: 1. Login to the festival site on your phone AND on your laptop Using Google Chromecast: 2. Once you are logged in on your laptop connect your HDMI 1. The AMA UK wants everyone joining us for AmericanaFest UK to have a wonderful experience using the digital festival site and that includes the live chat. We will have a few moderators keeping an eye on things but please remember the following rules: 1. Disrespectful, offensive or foul language against other attendees or towards artists in the live chat will not be tolerated and you will be removed and blocked from the event. 2. Everyone is in the same boat, watching along from the comfort of their own homes. You don’t need to worry about getting to the front of a crowd or queues for bars. Sit back, relax and treat everyone in the live chat with respect. There is always someone on the other side of your screen. 3. On that note, everyone is trying to chill while watching AmericanaFest UK so please refrain from posting spam or any unauthorised marketing in the chat. We know your product is a game changer but this is not the place to shout about it. Any spam messages will be removed by moderators.

PPL collects and distributes money for the use of recorded music on behalf of: • the performers on a recording, such as a guitarist or a singer • the recording rightsholder, often a record label or a self- releasing artist
We do this by first licensing recorded music in the UK when it is used in a radio or TV broadcast, an online radio service, or played in public, such as in shops, bars or offices. This is via PPL PRS Ltd, our licensing joint venture with PRS for Music.
The fee paid by our licensees is then distributed to the performers and recording rightsholders we represent. Having invested their time, talent and money to make recorded music, they are entitled to a fair payment when it is broadcast or played in public.
We also collect and distribute money when recorded music is played in public overseas. This ensures our members receive royalties when their music is played outside of the UK.
