13 September 2012 MUSIC LEGEND TROY CASSAR-DALEY JOINS QUEENSLAND POPS ORCHESTRA IN ‘A BIG COUNTRY’ Australian music legend Troy Cassar-Daley will perform two shows entitled ‘A Big Country’ with Brisbane’s own Queensland Pops Orchestra on Saturday 20 October in Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Concert Hall. Together with the orchestra Troy will sing his own hits plus ‘croon’ like never heard before classic standards like Come Fly With Me, Fly Me To The Moon and Sunny Side of the Street. Troy will be joined by his beautiful wife, radio and TV personality Laurel Edwards. “I am really looking forward to performing with the Queensland Pops Orchestra. Hearing my songs with a full orchestra will be amazing.... and to be singing classics like Come Fly With Me and I Get A Kick Out Of You on stage will be a first for me. I can't wait,” said Troy Cassar-Daley. “I invite you to come along as Laurel and I, accompanied by the wonderful Pops, perform a host of hit songs and new songs in a tribute to this great country of ours.” Troy Cassar-Daley boasts 8 studio albums over a more than 20 year career.
