Dear Member, Vice Presidents, families and friends.
I would personally like to welcome you to the 2016 season. This season sees a change in Captain for the 2nd XI with Alex Jewell taking over from Dom Whatman and also in the 4th XI with Colin Bird taking over from Chris Hutton we would like to wish all teams the very best of luck for the coming season.
Please come along and support all 4 sides on a Saturday, I know they appreciate it.
I would also like to welcome all Vice Presidents to the new season, your patronage is critical to the success of the club and although many attend the club on a regular basis we would like to see many more popping in and having a drink whilst enjoying the Cricket.
The Junior section continues to go from strength to strength with Mandy Brine and Clare White leading the way with excellent support all the way through the Boys age groups and with Tony Wilson kindly taking on the role of spearheading the Girls Cricket ensuring inclusion within our club. Can we go one better this year and collect even more silverware, I am sure we can!
I am pleased to announce we have agreed to a number of Oxfordshire games on our ground this year from the senior team all the way to junior matches. We hosted the first 3 day game for 20 years against Dorset last year and have been rewarded with another 3 day game against Shropshire this season. These fixtures are in the fixture card and hopefully we will see many ARCC players representing the County on home turf.
I would also like to thank all of the sponsors who have supported the fixture card, I hope that your businesses thrive throughout 2016 and if you have time to pop into the club I am sure you will receive a warm welcome.
