FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NOVEMBER 23, 2010 BOULEVARD CASINO PRESENTS ROGER HODGSON LIVE AT THE RED ROBINSON SHOW THEATRE FRIDAY, MARCH 4 Coquitlam, BC – Roger Hodgson, widely regarded as one of the most gifted composers, songwriters and lyricists of our time, co-founded the progressive rock band Supertramp with Rick Davies in 1969. Hodgson wrote and sang most of the classic hits that brought the band worldwide acclaim selling over 60 million records through the 70’s and early 80’s. He gave us such amazingly enduring songs as “Dreamer”, “Give a Little Bit”, “Fool’s Overture”, “The Logical Song”, “Take the Long Way Home”, “Breakfast In America” and “It’s Raining Again”. After leaving the band in 1983, Hodgson released his debut solo album, Eye of the Storm which quickly became an international hit selling over two million copies. During the years that followed, he released two additional albums. His most recent album, Classics Live – a stunning collection of Hodgson’s best-loved songs recorded in concert during his 2010 tour – was released digitally last month. And now with his worldwide tour extending into 2011, he is continuing to perform the songs he wrote and sang while with Supertramp in the same passionate spirit in which they were created. Roger Hodgson will be appearing for one night only at Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre in March.
