UPS Gear Check Gear check is available for all registered runners on race morning. UPS Gear Check trucks will be parked near your start and finish lines for bag dropoff and pickup. Look for the truck labeled with your bib range. Bag check will be open until 12:30pm for all races except the 1st Half (open until 11:00am). Please use the gear bag provided at the Expo and attach your bib number using the tear off from their bib, and show your bib to pick up your bag at the end of your race. *Please Note – The Marathon is not liable for any lost, damaged or stolen items. Do not overstuff the bag, and tie it securely. Do not place any valuable or heavy items (such as keys, phones, electronics or money) in your sweats bag. Any clothing discarded at all Start Lines will be donated to a local organization. Lost and Found Any items found on the course or after the race will be brought to the Info Booth at the Finish Line Festival. All lost and found gear bags not claimed at the end of race day will be returned to The Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon management. You have five days to claim your items or contact us about shipping them after the race ($15 shipping charge). All unclaimed items will be donated to charity after two weeks. To inquire about a lost item, please contact us. 7 /thesfmarathon @thesfmarathon @thesfmarathon RACE INFORMATION (continued) Medical Information The Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon, the UCSF Medical Team and RaceSafe have partnered to provide comprehensive care for our running community. • Medical support is available at the Main Start/Finish Line, 1st Half Finish Line, 2nd Half Start, and 5K Start, in addition to 16 aid stations along the course. • To ensure our medical team can properly treat you if needed, please complete your emergency contact and medical profile at RaceSafe (or ensure it’s up to date, if you’ve done so in previous years), and fill out the emergency contact information on the back of your bib. 8 /thesfmarathon @thesfmarathon @thesfmarathon RACE INFORMATION (continued) Challenges For those of you who are eligible to receive an award for completing one (or more!) of our race challenges: • If you are participating in the California Dreamin’ , SF/Berkeley Challenge , or Half It All Challenge , make sure the challenge you are participating in is stamped on your bib. If your bib is not stamped, visit the Solutions Table at the Race Expo. Medals for these challenges will be available at the Challenges Tent at the Finish Line Festival and at the 1st Half Marathon Finish. Medals must be picked up at the Challenges Tent on Race Day. • If you are participating in the SF Original Run Series and are one of the first 2,500 runners to complete Alaska Airlines Bay to Breakers, our race, The San Francisco Giant Race and the Oral-B Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge, you will receive your medal at the Finish Line of The San Francisco Giant Race. • If you are participating in the 52 Club or Loyal Runner challenges, you must pick up your commemorative awards at the Challenge Booth at the Race Expo. Gifts will not be available to be picked up at the Finish Line on race day. You can check your eligibility to tackle a challenge here. There will be pre- and post- run fuel provided by nuun, plus bagels, coffee, and other snacks. Runners will also have access to the massage therapists in the RUN365 tent area. Digital Cheer Boards New this year at The Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon! Thanks to our Title Sponsor, Biofreeze, we will have multiple cheer boards along the course to give you that extra bit of motivation to help you finish strong. Tell your friends and family to share motivational messages on their social media profiles, using #BiofreezeCheer and #Bib (insert bib number of runner). Cheer boards are located at the 19th Mile in the Haight Ashbury and at the 25th Mile by AT&T Park. As you approach a cheer board, your bib number will register and their messages will appear on the screen! Your friends and family can also create personalized photos at the Health & Fitness Expo to share with you on the course cheer boards.
