During the year the MDBA has continued to: • drive the implementation of the Murray–Darling Basin Plan in collaboration with communities, governments and industries of the Basin • direct the sharing of water of the River Murray on behalf of Basin governments. The report has been prepared in accordance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cwlth) (s. 46) and the Water Act 2007 (Cwlth) (s. 214). I certify that the MDBA has prepared fraud risk assessments, fraud control plans and practices, fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and reporting, and data collection in compliance with the Commonwealth Fraud Control Framework. I also certify that I have taken all reasonable measures to minimise the incidence of fraud in the MDBA. I would like to acknowledge the commitment of MDBA staff and their contribution to achieving a healthy, productive Murray–Darling Basin.
