Since 1976, the annual Beach to Bay marathon has been a yearly highlight in Corpus Christi and on the Island. Runners can participate as a team of six by running legs of 5.25 miles (max), or in teams of two where each runner will run three legs. The most hardy of all athletes treat the event as a marathon and run the entire 26.2 mile course solo. The even begins on the beach just South of Bob Hall Pier and finishes at McCaughan Park. Over 2,000 athletes from all over the world participate in this event. Photos by Leah Edwards and Marcel. May 24, 2018 Island Moon A 3
