FOREIGN LANGUAGE IMMERSION:

Concordia Language Programs: Concordia Language Villageshttp://www.concordialanguagevillages.org/newsite/

Concordia Language Villages, in Moorhead, Minn., provides language courses and cultural immersion in 15 languages for preschoolers to adults. There are one week introductory programs, and two and four week immersion programs for students ages 7-18.

Students entering 11th or 12th grade who have taken three years of French, Spanish or German can earn college credit in their language if accepted into the four-week college credit program (See Reference 1). As of May 2010, the Concordia website prices the college credit program at $4,065. Concordia also offers a program for high school students in any grade to earn up to a year of high school foreign language credit (if approved by their high school) in a four-week program (See Reference 2). This program costs $3,675 as of May 2010.
